I know several other forums that talk about VN, but all of them are adult sites... and very explicit too (so I can't give the link). They're also nothing like LSF. They only talk about commercial JVN but most of the time, they're talking about something else. VN is a niche market anyway...

If the game already built (ready to be released, by clicking such option in RenPy), you don't need a RenPy to play one (since it's already an EXE file). Though you need appropriate software to unpack the compressed file (like WinRar, WinZip, or 7zip). Not a problem though, since there are plenty of ...

You may want to search for software that can record anything played on screen (I presume people use this to make various Let's Play video too). There are plenty of free one out there, but you may want to buy one if you're s...

I will have to +1 on this one. Having played the Suikodens dearly, I almost expect every good story to have some meaningful death within 'em.

Try Fire Emblem series. EVERYONE can die there... PERMANENTLY.

We already have a thread for dumping ideas. Please use it -> viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2257

Though if you don't have any ideas at the moment, why did you make a thread for dumping one? Anyway, I'm locking this thread.

So what sort of environment do you prefer when illustrating? Well, it’s almost totally digitised now. About all I do which is analogue is sign things for people. Even then I wish there was an undo function… This! I'm glad someone else have same thought as me. So Comic Studio is good for lineart? An...

Finally bought Manga Studio because of this thread (and the revelation that TONY uses Comic Studio (Manga Studio as it's called in Japan) and Photoshop.). I was originally hovering over Paint Tool Sai, but seeing as I already have Photoshop, and my future direction is drawing things more manga-like...
