Hi! Yes, now it starts correctly, great work! :-) At one point, I got the following error message, however I could not reproduce it a second time: D/StatusBarPolicy( 1350): [BRIGHTHY] curNetwork=26203 curHPLMN=26203 D/PhoneWindow(17230): couldn't save which view has focus because the focused view or...

Hi! Unfortunately, the game does not start on my LG Optimus One (android 2.2). The loading screen appears, but that's about it. I get the following output at the debug cosole: I/ActivityManager( 1350): Starting activity: Intent { act=android.intent.action.MAIN cat=[android.intent.category.LAUNCHER] ...

Here's the diff... only a very small number of strings, though. |

A couple of strings are still non-translatable (not surrounded by _() )... should I try to provide a diff for the ones I found, or were you about to correct this anyway? Another suggestion: while it's pretty obvious to anyone who worked with Ren'py for more than half an hour, someone completely new ...

Hi!
I have the same problem as jack_norton - using Windows Vista (SP1, Home Premium, german) as well. On my OpenSuse11.1 i686, everything I tested worked well. |

The big problem is just the will to organize all this, and a reasonable plan to make sure things don't go out of date as with all the other translations. Right now, I'm working a lot with "diff"... diff renpy-6.7.1/demo/game/ renpy-6.8.0/demo/game/ at least told me that several things hav...

Perhaps the translations page should be more prominently linked? You mentioned some box to the left like the "languages" on Wikipedia... if it was possible to include country/language-symbols, that should be prominently enough for now. The other idea was to have a hint right on the downlo...

I'll consider using gettext with Ren'Py from now on. That should make it possible to translate error messages and the like. Great. :-) * Non-English languages should have their content under renpy/<lang>, where lang is the 3-letter ISO language code. So German would be under renpy/deu, Spanish renp...

Hi! Would it be possible to make some of the core files (namely the error messages and lint reports, as in lint.py, ast.py, parser.py or main.py) translatable as well? I tried to do a bit on my own to have something to work on, as provided in the patches attached to this posting, but as I only have ...

Hi! Somewhere ealier in this thread, I already mentioned that I was interested in translating Ren'Py into german. While I'm not finished yet, I just wanted to share what I got so far: - The german version of the launcher - The translated version of the Demo, consistent to the 6.7.1 release - Transla...

I don't mind people translating the demo, provided there's at least some commitment to keep the translated demo up-to-date with newer releases of Ren'Py, so people don't have to choose between an up-to-date version of Ren'Py, and one in their language. Okay. Is there something like a public develop...

The English is not used as some kind of string key index , is it? o_รด Yes, from my understanding, it is. While this does seem somewhat inelegant and prone for inconsistencies (if the english text is changed, the translations might not be found anymore), it makes things much, much easier for the pro...

Hi PyTom! Would you be interested to include internationalization support into Ren'py? Not just for the game that is created with Ren'py, but for the actual program itself. Since I do know a bit of Python and know some people who might be willing to help, I could even provide you with a set of patch...
