Re: Non-writers and their projects

If theme, or setting, or characters are uninspiring then it's difficult to write, but even then a writer can benefit from a solid frame. The main issue is w...

Re: Non-writers and their projects

Well I fit under #3 I think that writing is a trade like any other. A good writer can write whatever is needed for the project. As long as designer/leader know what they want it's easy to work. Same goes for an artist, if scenarist/leader doesn't have a clue, they can't create proper art. I prefer t...

And another short piece: "Swordmaster “ Stand still, left hand at your back, as if trying to hold your own belt. Breathe properly, deep, not too much, we don't want you to pass out, now do we. Now, raise your right arm, wrists relaxed, son. What you're holding is not a walking stick, but a rapi...

TigerRenko's Writing

Here is a miniature story: "Workshop of Mister Smolé Mister Smolé was making human beings. It was his trade. Many took him for a loony, even slightly dangerous. I guess it was because he resembled one of those movie type of crazy scientists that help bad guys. However, Smolé was a honest artisa...

Re: "Moment" - game in slow progress

It'd also make a big difference in the case of one or two characters, because they'd only be attracted to certain classes, or repulsed by others. I'm open to suggestions, though. It doesn't have to be extreme attract/repulse polarity, maybe some characters or classes have their favorites (with just...

Nope, music is from Tarkovsky's version of the "Stalker", Edvard Artemiev / Stalker - Main theme.

Nice idea, though to integrate narrated text into a game! I'll try to make it asap and post the enhanced version :)

Re: The state of VNs and their future

GASP! As a writer I have to protest. Trouble with writing is that everyone who is able to read and write thinks that is ready to be a writer! And it's harder to detect bad writing than a bad drawing. To audience that wants to be entertained by a good idea coupled with nice artwork, naive writing is ...
