Re: What concepts are consistent through your writing?

Might be weird to say, but :

- Hope.
- Spirituality.
- Feminism.
- Whiskey.

It is vague enough for many stories x)

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Hey there! So I finally found an internship within a game studio, and I'm quite happy about it so long. It leaves me some time to work on my first personal project. Here is a quick concept of Plum, one of the characters involved in the game. Her design may change over time, but I want to keep that s...

Re: Recruiting for SBG Commercial Project

I may be interested, but I'd like to know how the graphic work is distributed between the two artists. Is there a character designer and a environment designer, or will we be attributed random things? ^^

Re: An Artist is needed for free

Man, I don't want to bother you, but that's a huge amount of work ^^ Do you plan to have different outfits, poses, and expressions for every character? That being said, it's still possible to do the graphic part, but how will you manage the player's choices between 20+ characters? Even big VNs with ...

Re: Seeking Sprite Artist for Wallflowers-The Cursed Lotuses

Mind if I ask how many time the whole project will take? ^^ I never worked on a whole VN before, so I don't really know how long it takes.

I'm not really into Yaoï, to be honnest, but I should take part in a project anyway.

Re: Which engine for a Tycoon game project?

Actually, I thought about using RPG Maker too. The whole game base could be created with this 2D engine. I don't know Ren'Py so much, and I didn't use Game Maker in a long time, so I might as well try it out ^^ The 3D graphics would have brought a more fitting atmosphere though. Maybe I should make ...

Which engine for a Tycoon game project?

Greetings. As the title says, I am willing to create a game based on economics and micromanagement. The problem is that I am no programmer, and I don't know much about code. Thus, I don't really feel like starting a game from scratches. I'm conscious that there are some good economic/management game...

http://i.imgur.com/obhXg1E.png What I wore today- These are going to stop being interesting to do quickly cause most of my clothes are still packed away and I have like 4 pairs of pants. Funny, the colors remind me of Arthur De Pins. He's a french cartoonist, I don't know if people know him in othe...

Re: Is this style acceptable?

Oh, sorry, I may have misunderstood ^^ Well I don't really know. It depends on the studio itself. A lot of companies in France are only hiring interns because they are cheaper than employees. There are also bigger studios like Ubisoft, that have some permanent employees (managers, team leaders and s...

Re: Is this style acceptable?

I feel like getting into the game industry is more freelance oriented than other jobs... Like, some fields you just have to do X for 2 years, do Y for three years, and then you qualify for position Z with flying colors. Other jobs aren't so... systematic? I feel like game development is one of thos...

Re: Is this style acceptable?

I just had an job interview with Gameloft, but they didn't seem so interested... They didn't give any definitive answer, but I guess I'll have to try somewhere else. Damn, I can't believe it's that hard to get an internship, even after I went through all these studies and experiences xD It's even ha...

Re: Is this style acceptable?

Thanks ^^ I'm glad to see that the character is easily understood. However, maybe the fencing helmet could be improved. I didn't want it to look like a car racing helmet xD My bad... I hope to find inspiration for the next one soon. I have so much work to do, I fear that I won't have as much time as...

Re: Achievements

If you want people to visit every corner of your game, then it might be a good idea. However, some Visual Novels are so good and touching that people don't always want to explore every possible choices... Some people refused to play Katawa Shoujo more than once : they refused to try another romance ...

http://i56.servimg.com/u/f56/10/06/46/49/fencer11.png Here's the last one! I did my best to avoid the big feet for once, but it seems it could still be better x) I also tried to correct the shadows color. I'm quite happy with this character, and I'll definitely keep it for later ^^ Thanks for your ...
