I think putting sticker of a moe girls on all the posts here will solve all our problems. I fully support this initiative :D Good thing I'm not admining hee hee +1 for positivity (get it? ) There were seriously about 30 WIPs I was super excited about upon joining LSF over a year ago. The num...

(and come on, no one else has any general questions? I feel like such a thread hog :P)

*e-hugs for uncle mugen*
Take a deep breath... in... out... ;)

You have some legitimate points there. Some of it is inevitable with large communities, but I know I could personally lighten up more around here ^^; Some others, too.

Games are for fun, games are for fun :D

No biggie, I'm not offended. In my experience, "offense" is often more a reflection of the offended than whatever caused the offense. "Easily offended" is just another way of saying "thin-skinned." There can be disagreement, annoyance, etc. but "offense" impli...

I've seen it too many times before that when someone (me in this case) tries to provide a counterpoint or alternate angle to some of the ideology promoted in threads like these, everything blows up. Even when it's me saying my own experiences as a minority member are not consistent with what some pe...

Even if you personally don't feel the bite of being excluded or ridiculed in the media, other people do. It's easy to say that people are making a big deal out of nothing when you are not affected. I didn't say no one felt bad from being excluded in media nor did I say it was a big deal over nothin...

Thanks for the replies! :D

What sorts of features in equipment are drool-worthy?

(and don't forget to add your own questions for the community, readers ;) )

Personally I think this thread would strongly benefit from dropping the use of the word 'inclusive', which is being used to mean AT LEAST three wildly different things. I'll go a step further and say it conjures up images of touchy-feely seminars or guest speakers and let's talk about our feelings~...

I had a question and thought maybe it would be good to have a thread where people can get human responses to their VN-related questions. There are a lot of people with different backgrounds here, right? So I'll kick it off with my question: Does anyone here have experience with film? I'm talking vid...

The attitudes I think could benefit from adjusting at the ones where people say "I'm making the game I want, and I don't care what anyone else thinks." That's a really immature attitude, even from indie devs. I think if you're making a game as a hobby, you really need some of that attitud...

Even if you are making a men-only game, the creator should at least try to avoid sexism toward women. And in that case, toward men as well ;) We are constantly portrayed as villains, hyper-muscular pigs, and loser geeks (not geeks... loser geeks :P ) You shouldn't be a jerk, but I still maintain ma...

How about "make what you want to make so it's fun and not a chore"? Unless it's commercial, screw what everyone else wants. Everyone else isn't putting in the time, effort, or (possibly) money. Then you can actually finish your game. A finished game includes way more players than an unfini...

@kura: Hopefully no one is laughing at your misery. There are only a handful of people in the world whose misery I'd laugh at, and you're not one of them.

I would suggest changing your signature for the time being to avoid further complications.
