Personally, I'm cutting it close.... And yet, eclipse, you're still probably much closer to completion than me. ^^; I finally managed to create the complete plot flowchart... and discovered that my game actually has exactly 180 chunks, not the 80 I had imagined. (My "chunk" is a portion o...

I used to do art with crayons, too. Indeed, I killed a sheet-fed scanner (the kind that pulls the paper through itself across a stationary scanning element) trying to scan a crayon drawing. Lesson learned.^_^

I so totally appreciate this, absinthe... it's a real life-saver to have all that info in one spot... especially with only 8.35 days left in NaNoRenO... >_<

80 scenes? ... why am I even doing this? Wow, so Snow Angels Ball is in the Unwoven/Foxtaile territory? I'm really looking forward to one of these "next-gen" long games. NO! NO! Aaaaaaiiii! I tried to explain what I meant, but perhaps I shouldn't have put it in fine print. >_<; Maybe I sh...

With two weeks left, I've let panic and reason team up to defeat uncertainty. I've decided to salvage about 90% of what I've already plotted (which was about 90% of a complete story) and retrofit new and improved endings that are more meaningful and offer some degree of resolution. I really don't ha...

Secret weapon... I'd say you mean the cracked version of NaNoRenO Automated Game Finisher 2.3 [...] Hope this is helpful  I'm not familiar enough with eDonkey to know how much you're fooling me by, but I'm pretty convinced you're pulling my leg. ^_^ My secret weapon is actually a week's vacat...

How deliciously ironic that my big Day of Strife in NaNoRenO falls on the Ides of March. I'm facing a major crisis in my game-making that I hadn't anticipated: I realized that I hadn't constructed a story. Instead, I've made a set of somewhat related events that ultimately don't lead to a true concl...

I'm assuming there was a spam post here, that's not here anymore? When I looked at the subject line, I thought some forum regular might have taken photos on a trip to Madrid and was offering them as backdrop material for game creators. I thought, "Wow, that's mighty generous. Maybe I should tak...

Actually, your website is (and has been for a while) linked from the little www button at the bottom of each of your posts. So it was fairly easy to find your page from there. Curses! Foiled again! (Actually, I knew my site was linked from there... but I didn't think anyone actually cared. Much to ...

I don't know which is scaring me more... the Death Clock, the Death Bar, The Big Board... or the fact that PyTom knew where to find my update page without me telling him. ^_^; (Yes, it's in my .sig, but this is the first post to contain my .sig.) EDIT: It might be worthwhile to put the usernames ass...

Sweet mercy... an entire game... in 31 days.

Good luck, everyone! ^_^

I really wasn't begging for this feature to begin with. I just noticed something unusual and thought I'd bring it to your attention. Especially if you can't deduce the screen resolution via code, this seems impossible for covering all the variations of possible resolutions. Besides 1280x800 and vari...

Tried the widetest version on my laptop with the 1280x800 screen... and when I run the demo and select the Fullscreen (1.6) option, I get a 259x162 mm image centered on my 332x208 mm screen -- in other words, it fills about 78% of my screen in both dimensions -- and the image looks horizontally stre...

I'm quite sure you wouldn't have any problem getting rid of COPIC markers. ^_^ You could always eBay them -- I see individual COPICs going for ~$8 on eBay at the moment. Or you could use them for prizes for some contrived contest. As for the CDs... are there any cons in your near future, or the near...

You explain it so much more clearly than I can. ^_^ The math is easier with 1.6 than it is with 16/9, too. I understand now... and I can always adjust the resolution on the laptop, or just use the older PC, as long as this isn't available. Any thoughts on 1280x1024? (Does anybody even have a system ...
