Re: Languages!
Wow, I'm impressed. Everyone here speaks many languages! Despite being trilingual (sort of), I feel rather inadequate. 1. English (Canadian, then American) - while not technically my first language, it's probably my best, which is why I put it first. 2. Spanish - But I've forgotten a lot since I don...

Re: Empty Main Character or Fleshed Out?
If I'm not going to have complete control over the character, then I would prefer the personality to be clearly defined. I don't like being led on to believe that the character is supposed to be "me" when none of the choices available in a menu are actual choices that I would make in that ...

Re: Favorite celebrity (Non Anime related)
Nathan Fillion YES. I adore Nathan Fillion in almost everything in which I've seen him. He always seems to have fun with his characters And I love that he embraces his fans. A lot of actors with a strong cult following try to break away from their fan base, but he seems to genuinely enjoy the nerdi...

Re: How Much Ecchiness You Can Tolerate From a Game?
Wow, I would NOT be thinking about sex during a zombie apocalypse. :P When it takes all of my energy just to focus on survival, sex would be the last thing on my mind. I can't say that I've experienced a zombie apocalypse, but I've lived in a natural disaster zone, which is the closest scenario I ca...

Re: How Much Ecchiness You Can Tolerate From a Game?
Fan service designed to appeal to the opposite sex (the straight male population) holds no interest for me. Even if the story would ordinarily be compelling enough, it's very likely that I would be sufficiently put off to stop playing if there were panty shots (although I don't mind nudity as much, ...

Re: Race in Visual Novels
The GxB VN I was working on for NaNoRenO (still unfinished, due to a backlog of coursework...but never mind that) has a black female protagonist. Is there a particular reason for this? Not really. I'm not black, I'm actually Indian. But regionally, it makes sense, because the story is set in Detroit...

Re: Recommend a Webcomic?
Yes, another Gunnerkrigg Court fan! And Hark! A Vagrant, yay! (Did you read the latest one with Chopin and Liszt? I loved it!) I read the first few pages of FreakAngels a while ago, didn't really get into it immediately, but I might have to give it a second chance. And of course Dr. McNinja. I've ne...

Re: an idea GxB game named 'Alice Hunt'
Hm...yeah, I don't know if the term "butler" is what you want here. A butler is generally the highest-ranking and most senior male servant in a household, and the person to whom all the other menservants report. It wouldn't really make sense to have multiple butlers. A large household may ...

Re: Recommend a Webcomic?
Thanks for sharing, guys! I've read all of Sfeer Theory so far, which is very good (dense!)...although from what I gather it contains some BL elements (but I don't mind!), and I've heard Knights-Errant is good from several sources, so I'll have to pick that one up at some point. I've never heard of ...

Recommend a Webcomic?
As much as I love print comics and graphic novels, I've lately found myself reading more webcomics than usual. I think there are several reasons for this: webcomics are usually free, updated more frequently, have an appealing DIY feel, etc. Does anyone else here read/like webcomics? Care to recommen...

Re: Do you play as same or opposite gender?
That's funny... I always want to play as the gay guy I wish I was... though I'm a hetero girl actually  This is true of me as well! That is...I don't wish I were a gay guy (I like being a girl!), but when there is an option to play a gay guy, I will choose that over a female. In all other sit...

Re: The first anime you ever saw?
Yeah, those Fox Kids dubs were pretty awful. Like, horrendously bad. But I guess kids don't notice that sort of thing. They don't even really listen to the words half the time. XD But I think that it's worth watching the Hetalia dubs (especially since the episodes are so short; it doesn't take much ...

Re: The first anime you ever saw?
The first anime I ever saw were probably those dubs on Fox kids (Pokemon, Sailor Moon, etc.), along with some Miyazaki films in elementary school...but the first anime I watched while conscious of the fact that it was anime was probably Ouran High School Host Club.

Wow, this looks so much better than my NaNo project so far. >.< Really, it's clear that you've put a lot of work into this. Keep it up! Anyway, the real reason I posted is to offer my services as proofreader. I don't have MSN, but if you're interested, just hit me up with a PM and I'll give you my e...
