Re: The Edge of Magic (Modern fantasy) [Demo]
I guess I have a different perspective and set of interests. The first three points you give, PyTom, pretty much sum up to wanting more flash faster and I can't say that would really improve the story for me. I enjoy seeing character self-reflection and I liked that opening. Also I'm often more inte...

Re: Infinite Game Works
I personally enjoyed Fading Hearts more. I found that Infinite Game Works felt more repetitive then I like, but I tend towards straight VNs over LifeSims generally.Arivien wrote:So, if I was to get one of your games, should it be this or Fading Hearts?

I appreciate all that you guys have done thus far, it was very enjoyable. Sad to hear the finale won't be, but life happens and things are always changing. I wish the whole team the best of success in the future. I know you have positively effected many people with this work, myself included. I'm su...

Re: That Cheap and Sacred Thing - Drama/Sci-fi
I consider inspiring contemplation and joy a complete win! XD Woah, reading your thoughts list kind of blows my brain. o.o I actually didn't think about spirit/soul in regards to the body and relationships. Like, I never carried that metaphor back to the humans. Your thinking is making me think. XD...

Re: That Cheap and Sacred Thing - Drama/Sci-fi
I very briefly skimmed over the majority of the other posts but didn't fully read them. I found the story really touching. I didn't cry, and I usually don't, but it did inspire a decent amount of contemplation. I enjoyed the bonus section with your thoughts, I didn't read them until a day after fini...

Re: DSanchez's - City of Lost Hope
For a first run VN where you made pretty much everything I think you did a great job. The music worked very well to set the tone, although I would have liked some music on the main menu as well. I didn't have the same problem with the glass breaking sound effect as was mentioned by others, but I tho...

Re: Connection 1.2
Well I played it, and I enjoyed it. First thing I did while playing was turn up the text speed as the default appears to be quite slow. Both Connections and the game you just described seem to have major themes of loneliness and isolation. The "Good Ending" in Connections however was prett...

Wow, I am impressed with how much your art has improved. It really encourages me to keep drawing. I've probably commented already in the past and just forgotten but in case I didn't I will say a couple words. I played ARC I shortly after it was released, loved it. Played ARC II as soon as it came ou...

Re: Getting started
The first thing I did to start out was make a 1 minute test game using the art and music from The Question. It pretty much was "Look I'm talking" "Now I'm moving back and forth" "Now there is music" "Look the scene changed" done. Otherwise just messing around ...

Just finished it and I am very much looking forward to the next episode, on my to buy list. For the ~$6 it is well worth it imo.

Re: Text Aligning too High on Menu
The easiest thing that comes to mind is make the font size smaller. Otherwise I suppose you could make the buttons themselves larger, which I don't know how to do off the top of my head. I may look into it tomorrow if I have time.

Re: CAN'T DO ANOTHER PASSAGE!
Did you maybe indent too far? As stated before everything for a block needs to be at the same indentation. Maybe read over the Indentation and Blocks Section of the Ren'Py Language Basics.
