Re: Trvia or quiz mini-game in Renpy?
Hi again! :D I've gotten to the part of the game where I use the code, and it's working wonderfully! :D :D I modified it a tiny bit so that I could have more quizzes leading to different sub-branches of the story, and so far it's working, but my code-writing skills are to programming pretty much wha...

Awesome!! :D :D :D Thank you so much in advance, for considering it and all! *looks forward to what you might make of it* Here's an example from another game, of the type of menu I mean, in case it wasn't very clear in the way I explained it: The game looks normal like this when you're playing it: h...

Various noob questions... (I'm desperate here... ^^;)
Hi again, and sorry to bother you all with more questions. ^^;; And please forgive me for the wall of text. OTL I'm very confused and so I'm trying to explain to the best of my knowledge the mess of my code issues. ^^; If my game ever reaches completion, it will truly be a product of sweat and tears...

Re: about making a visual game....
When you define things like ctc=anim.Filmstrip("sakura.png", (20, 20), (2, 1), .30, xpos=760, ypos=560, xanchor=0, yanchor=0)..... what do all those numbers in the various parenthesis and out of them mean? ^^;;; They're all explained in the manual page for anim.FilmStrip . The manual page...

Re: about making a visual game....
I'm so sorry to pop up in someone else's thread, but I didn't want to make an extra one when it's to ask a question related to this one. ^^; When you define things like ctc=anim.Filmstrip("sakura.png", (20, 20), (2, 1), .30, xpos=760, ypos=560, xanchor=0, yanchor=0)..... what do all those ...

Re: Trvia or quiz mini-game in Renpy?
That reply is made of SO MUCH WIN! :D :D :D *huge Monty Python fan here* I think I understand it now. :D I'll come back if I get stuck somewhere when I put it into use, but I think that it should go fine despite my noob-ness, it's really well explained. :D Thank you SO much, it's very helpful! :D :D...

Trvia or quiz mini-game in Renpy?
Hi there! I'm still having the problem where the latest version of Renpy doesn't wants to edit any scripts on my PC (it can't select any editor in the options), so I'm using the 6.3.3 version I had saved a while ago, but hopefully this shouldn't affect what I needed to ask about: I looked through th...

Re: error : no editor has been selected
Hi, and thanks for answering! :D Sorry I wasn't clear enough when I explained, but yeah, as I mentioned in my post I have Java installed and up to date, and I've tried selecting the editor in the options over and over again, but it refuses to select. (Scite is in the Renpy folder too but doesn't sho...

Re: Why can't I edit sript in the latest version of renpy?
Sorry for popping in on someone else's question, but how do you use the other editors? The error it gives with me is that it can't select any editor, in the options. I thought it was just jEdit so I installed Scite to see, it's in the Renpy folder and all, but it isn't working either. Is there a way...

Re: Simple problem with editing script???
Hi, and thank you for answering and explaining!
That's great to know! At least I can go on developing the stuff while I wait to see if I can use the latest version later.

Re: error : no editor has been selected
I have the exact same problem (as I've mentioned in the other thread). The latest version of Renpy refuses to open any scripts for me, claiming no editor has been selected. No matter how many times I make sure jEdit is there. I have Java all up to date and the error still continues the same, sadly. ...
