I have a minor issue with my background for my vn's music room (which took me so fricking long to do)...the picture is misaligned, but everything else functions fine. If you'd like, I can provide a screen shot to show what I mean? I had the same problem. The way to get around this, is by changing t...

Thank you very much^^ This really helps me out.

But I have a little problem. I did everything correct, but when I start the game I can only see the upper left corner of the background and can´t do anything.
What did I wrong?

Can you show me a screenshot?

Thanks so much for this! I liked the black one in particular(it could come in handy for the practice game I'm making. Dunno if I'll ever finish it though XD ) I'm glad you like it! -- Practice games make excellent templates to collect and keep 'working' code that you can later use in proper games. ...

S...the best way they can go is when both people are completely honest about what they want and what they're doing from the beginning. Definitely. It's when one person harbors expectations/feelings the other may not return that misunderstanding and drama occurs. Or worse, LIES about accepting that ...

The theme of my VN is a mystery murder. It's quite a small project and the deadline is really close so I'm not really reaching for the stars, but I at least want to write a decent murder case. ... If you want to write a murder-mystery --even if it's only a simple one-- I suggest reading advice from...

...While that may be the case in many parts of America, I can guarantee that's not the case everywhere! I live in an extremely liberal area where polyamory is common and practiced openly. Casual sex is the same way... You are so lucky, and I am so jealous! Washington state sounds awesome. -- You're...

I wanted to write about characters having a casual relationship... 1. If I address this, will people have problems with it? I won't, but then I'm older and have a lot more experience with relationships, casual and otherwise. 1a) I want to portray the girl initiating the relationship first, as I bel...

While I was messing with this I found the new version of Ren'Py throws a RevertableDict error for me that I think is related to the python styling, so head's up? You only need one callback function. 'name' is the parameter you want, as opposed to the function name. Try: init -1 python hide: nvl_var = None def st1(name, event, **kwargs): global nvl_var nvl_var = name speaker = renpy.curry(st1) The function name doesn't matter? Okay, I changed it to: init -1 ...

I have used Levrex's method to have multiple NVL screens, it uses a modified nvl screen like PyTom's example but also has a callback function: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=17577&hilit=levrex+nvl#p229973 I used the callback in that post and was able to style size/back...

You could change the top and bottom parts to use different styles, etc.

I can't make it work because options.rpy will not accept 2 different nvl styles.
