I use FreePlane to plot out my multi-path games.

Re: A Short Ghost Story

Beautiful art and impressive use of ATL. It gives the whole game the feeling of watching an animated film. The story was short, but water tight. No extraneous details or dangling plot threads at all. Very impressive for a jump from a comic to a VN. I especially enjoyed the option at the end; it gave...

Re: TRAP! [ModernFantasy][VN] PG-16!

Thanks for making Trap! It's one of the best examples I've found of good, short Ren'Py interactive storytelling. Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked the game. I usually find sprites cheesy and distracting to the VN experience, but yours are magnificently done and seamless. I'm glad you lik...

Feedback: The game was amazing and I really enjoyed it, the pictures work just fine now. But the credit images are still missing. Thank you for the nice experience. ^^ UPDATED...again. Re: The Walk [Psych][NaNoWinter 2015]

All the background images are missing in version 1.5 Is it only a problem of mine? Because redownloading doesn't work, I can't fix it myself. I would be happy if someone could help. :) My apologies. -- I forgot to test the zipped game before releasing it, so it's entirely my own fault. The problem ...

Re: The Walk [Psych][NaNoWinter 2015]

I really enjoyed the "writing exercise", and though I was somewhat spoiled by having done a similar psychoanalysis writing exercise before, I tried to just ignore all that and write whatever first popped into my head... the relaxing music and subtle visuals definitely helped me do that. I...

Re: Adventures of Prince Ivan 2.0 [VN](Fant/Adv)

I know I'm way behind, but I finally got around to playing your fine VN (after reading your wonderful GUI tutorials). I loved the mix of classical Russian art, music, and folklore with the modern sprites and mechanics! Ohhh, those clothes... very drool-worthy. :-) There were a few times when I thou...

I have used a few in my new game, For Ambergris, which I just finished today. I've credited your BGs. :)
I'm thrilled that you liked the backgrounds enough to put them in your game!

Re: [Tutorial]Custom Backgrounds:Save/Load/Pref/Yes-No/MainM

For some reason, the backgrounds for save/load/preferences screens don't work for me, the CG, BG and music room backgrounds do work though... Here's my code screen save(): add "images/cgbg.png" # background image use navigation use file_picker screen load(): add "images/cgbg.png"...

Re: The Walk [Psych][NaNoWinter 2015]

The wall was impenetrable and giant -- full of cement. It was taller than a house. I couldn't see a thing over it, and while I had trouble imagining other things, this wall was very distinct for me! It couldn't be anything else. I guess I REALLY don't want to die. I loved the game! Good work ^_^ I'...

How are you to know what the Creator actually wants to know if they don't post specific Questions? Psychic Powers! Re: So, you want a Critique? [Rant]

Asking for "feedback on overall experience," which is an overly broad question, is likely to result in overly broad responses like: "I thought it sucked!" "I thought is was great!" That feedback will not be helpful to you. More specific questions will generate more spe...

Re: So, you want a Critique? [Rant]

Well actually my original point was it's rare there are any specific questions asked... It is rare, but the smarter ones DO ask specific questions. If there's a glaring inconsistency somewhere you overlooked, people will point it for you themselves. If that were True, then Jar Jar Binks would have ...
