Re: Your *New* Ren'Py Account

Nice fish, Tom ! Now I'll continue the mine ^W fishsweeping on the 'Net ;) sallying forth on the fish-fields of the Net with my redoutable fishsweeper [1] ;) [1] I known, the correct term is fishing vessel or trawler, but these are maritime terms, I prefer a Naval one ;) Best regards from Italy, and...

Re: Street Girl

please bear, it's only the usual request/reminder: where is a -linux or -all version ? ;) I'm a little busy these days. But that's not the main reason I didn't upload it. Even if I upload a linux version, it will only receive one or two downloads and so the file will be deleted from 2shared by its ...

Re: [SciFi|Adventure]Adrift

a little question, I'm wrong or Adrift isn't also the name of an IF programming language & terp ? It is. ADRIFT is also short for "ADventure Runner and Interactive Fiction Toolkit", and I intentionally named my game "Adrift" to pay tribute to the IF roots I'm following here....

Re: [SciFi|Adventure]Adrift

If you're into Interactive Fiction, try to find the game that inspired this, Suspended . But be warned: it's tough! I was to asking, even from the blurb i thinked this !!! ;) For the rest, in the end, I noticed that the unexpected bounds & leaps of the Ren'ai scene has much to having followed t...

Re: Megaupload down?

I'm wondering what people would think of an LSF-specific upload site. The new forum server (which I ordered last Friday, will begin building this week, and will probably deploy sometime next month) will have 2x2TB of disk on it. (Raid 1, so 2TB useful storage.) Upgrading it to a 100mbps connection,...

Re: Megaupload down?

First of all, my apologies for the confused post of yesterday.... Now, on the MU takedown and the rather immediate anon reprisal.... my broad view on the general issue, in my Italian perspective, this is what can happen if the basic tenet of managing societes, bread and circus, is utterly ignored fo...

Re: Megaupload down?

sorry for this confused post, but after a long night watching live the anon rampage (rather impressive, if one think that is an impromptu reaction without advance planning & preparation) I'm rather tired & exhausted, but that the ill-timing of the MU crackdown is definitively a massive mista...

Re: Katawa Shoujo released

already DL'd and in process of installing.

I must warn that seems that the Linux launcher has a serious bug, and on the KS site is a patch for fixing it.

Re: Stop SOPA - USA members, please read

No no, the shift from retail to ESD was a massive difference for AAA companies. When I worked in a smaller company I remember we would get about 1-3 euros each copy sold at retail for 20+ eur (distributors were taking most of profits). Now Beteshda gets 30% of 49.99 eur from Steam, so "slightl...

Re: Stop SOPA - USA members, please read

well, my personal opinion is starting from "calling the spades", that is, applying the correct IP to every aspect of a game; that is, the brevet is the proper IP for the codebase and copyright is the proper IP for content. then start to reform not only the IP laws, but also the business mo...
