Yeah, I've been lurking there a bit, but with no luck so far. Although that's proooobably mostly my fault, because I'm cheap and don't wanna pay for anything, but I also am the pickiest person on the planet, OTL. A friend of mine might draw some sprites for me, which would be great, since my current project has rather... unique characters. :lol:

But who doesn't want that?

It's hard to explain without getting super duper into the plot, but basically, the story takes place about 50-ish years in the future, in Japan. There's this crazy creepy form of magic that people have discovered, and it's sort of a taboo topic because while it can accomplish nearly anything, you sacrifice a piece of your humanity, sanity, and soul every time you use it. So the very first time someone uses this kind of magic, their appearance changes significantly, and it changes more and more with each use although the effects are minimized each time. For example, the antagonist has a third eye on her forehead, tentacles coming out of her back, translucent yellow skin with visible veins, and just about no sanity left. There are only two somewhat normal looking people in it -- the main character (a living doll) and one of his love interests (a yakuza with razor sharp teeth, who also eats bullets).
