As this game is probably going to remain unfinished for all eternity, I can just as well give out a walkthrough:
True Ending Walkthrough:
1. Draw a picture
2. Medication
3. Confrontation
4. Dash for the door
5. Look for Julius
6. You need to help ME!
7. I don't think you should see him
8. Are you a hallucination?
9. I am here, and so are you
10. Julius is to blame
11. As punishment
12. No one can change that
13. Open the stitches
14. Because of his mental condition
After you have reached the True Ending, there's an additional scene available from the main menu. After having reached all six endings, the Developer's Notes become available.
Anyway, my thoughts on the game after the 1-5 endings. I'm a big fan of Higurashi, and it's such a good game, it's art style never really bothered me. I wasn't bothered by the art style in this game either. I must say, though, that the difficulty level is the biggest downfall of this game for me. I was enjoying playing through and choosing different things to get different endings, but that path to the true ending is completely linear, and that's something I advise against in all branching games. The end result is frustration, and that's been the downfall of many a good game.
I'm actually writing a novel with a similiar concept to Higurashi.

All art, for instance. The final difficulty factor. The fact that there's only a Windows version and none for Linux and Mac.
Only the barebones game concept, the music and parts of the character art are complete.

Dang. There's the bug, again, and I have no idea what triggers it. For some people, the Epilogue and Designer's Notes don't seem to work.
Try the following: Delete the game, then reinstall it. Finish the game via the Walkthrough; that should give you the Epilogue. For Designer's Notes, I'm sending you a PM.

Well, considering from whose perspective everything is shown and given the fact that the Epilogue ends in pretty much the same way as the True Ending...
Is it really important? In my opinion, the really important thing is the choice Julius is making...
Dear god... V.V I got this game, played through four different endings (I got the second one three times, but I only count it as once, XD) and had to use the walkthrough to get the final ending...
And it made me cry.
I am not ashamed to say that.
THIS GAME IS AWESOME.
Yes, it's hard, but some games are MEANT to be. Some games you HAVE to have a walkthrough to work with. And some, are just MEANT to be dissonant.
I think the Art in and of itself is what MAKES the game. Not breaks it. This is a wonderful game.
I ask that you not change a damn thing.
Except maybe releasing a full walkthrough of all endings? XD
Then...Jane lives? The epilogue is told from her perspective, so you are suggesting she survives? But, if that is the case, I don't really think that point got across.

The game is currently under... reconstruction. So to speak. So I won't change a damn thing, but that won't prevent other people from changing a thing or two...
I'll publish the walkthrough as soon as there's something new to report from that front.
Wright1000: yup, there are a few typos here and there. Almost inevitable in a script of that size if you don't have a proofreader. But as Darth Vader would have put it: typos do not concern me, Admiral.
I found the plot extremely intriguing, and both the writing and art was very well-done. They definitely succeeded in producing a sort of unsettling feeling (and I guess I probably shouldn't have played the game right before going to sleep! Gah, the White Lady was creeeepy.).
It was challenging and I had to consult this thread a ridiculous amount of times to get ending 6, but I had loads of fun! The game was very original and felt very refreshing (I think this is the first "dark" VN that I've played, too...which is kind of sad, because I adore that genre. xD).
i was gonna wait for the next version but
couldn't resist playing it!
managed to get ending 1-5 myself then looked for walkthrough for ending 6
(i probably would have never figured out how to do get this ending on my own lol)
i enjoyed the game! when i first started it i did not expect to see a monster at all lol

Gah! Don't! The new version will definitely take a while! I'm going to mention it in this thread when it's done, of course, but don't expect a release in the next few weeks!
