Hey again Caro! I apparently feel the need to revive this thread whenever I log on.

I did a quick fanart of Jude commenting on Elly's stature. I might ink and color it some time.

TT___TT

*weeps from awesomeness*
Oh. My. Goodness.
That was so...
TT____TT

The art fit the story well, and the music was interesting, and the story...
TT____TT
I put off reading TCAST because I usually don't do well with sad short stories, especially after I saw people were crying, but after so many responses, I felt like I just had to read it. And I'm glad I did.
I think it was pretty realistic how you put all those details about the nature of robots and stuff, though the sex details were a bit explicit, so I'm glad you had it rated.
I usually hate open-ended endings, but I really do appreciate how I can at least imagine a happy ending in the future.
So... yeah.
TT___TT
Great job! XD

Aww, thank you so much. :D I'm very glad it seemed worth the crying! XD

Were they explicit? I thought explicit didn't happen until body parts were mentioned. I guess I don't know these things. XD

carosene wrote:@IianaBri Thank you for posting! :D I'm so grateful to hear that you enjoyed TCAST.

I understand your frustration with KNs. xD While I enjoy them, when I want to play a visual novel, they're frustrating. Besides, some of them are people figuring out Ren'py, which is a good thing for people to do, and it's good for people to get feedback on those, but it may dilute the meaning of kinetic novels for casual gamers. *shrugs*

Psht, would I mind being asked for self-indulgent answers? XD Of course not!
Well, I think when I thought of it, I had seen A.I. and I had read a book of short stories, simply titled "Robots" edited by Jack Dann and Gardner Dozois. They made me realize that you can write an emotional story about robots in ways that you can't with humans, and I wanted to contribute to the conversation of what exactly makes one human. That's about it. :) The rest came from my brain.

Aww, you flatter me. XD Thank you so much for your kind comments! But I feel it's a little premature to officially admire me after TCAST, maybe you shouldn't make it official until you play my second game. XD

As for the kinetic novel recommendations...
Well, I was scrolling through the kinetic novel section of the Ren'ai archive and I was pretty embarrassed by how few of them I've played. o.o
I can't think of any that gave me the emotional response that you just described, but I loved Cell Phone Love Letter http://www.renai.us/game/cellphone.shtml (the art is interesting, but get past it, it's worth it XD) and the Acquae games. http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 39&start=0
I'm late. You got back to me promptly!
And finally! Someone who understands that particular frustration. Heheh. But I guess I do understand why that is important.

I'm happy to present you with the chance to spoil yourself and let you tell about how you came up with such an interesting idea. I never would have quite thought like that... And I suppose now I must go and read that book of short stories.

And those comments, no problem at all. Just presenting you with the truths that I found appropriate. :D I'm really hyped for this second game!

I will definitely check those selections out.

Gakuen Redux. Six years old now, but it hasn't aged a day.
Thanks for the suggestion!!! I'll check this one out too. I've played a few older games and a couple were better than some of the newer ones! XD

Psht, that's ok, I'm the emperor of late replies. XD

That book was pretty good? It's probably been five years since I read it, so I hope you like it. XD
I go work on second game. o.o I hope to make it epic-ish.

This was fantastic. I usually don't like drama, but this one was good in epic proportions. It has both the classic reluctant-love story and a mysterious twist when you find out what Autumn can do. It all comes together fantastically and I would really like to see a continuation of this setting, if not this plot. Though perhaps this story is better off with an open ending ;)

Thank you so much! :D I'm very glad to hear some praises preceded by "I usually don't like drama" XD I was a bit worried people who didn't like drama wouldn't like it, very glad to hear that you do!

Aww this game was so awesome. It's probably the best kinetic novel I've ever read. It was so cute >.<
Poor Jude.. I would love to play a sequel.

It looks like, your groupies are getting bigger and bigger :3
Maybe this sequel will become reality one day ...
Or even a prequel ... ?!
:)
But still ! I've passed the link for your game for like 10 of my friends ... All of them say 'thx' for you and wish to play some more such games :) !
Like Faithless said ... "I want more !"

@Kairyn: Thank you so much! X3

@ElviraNyx: Thanks to you too! I hope you enjoy Darlings. :D

@Omnix: Dude, I know. o.o It's weird. XD Lol, I'm not sure if "groupies" is the word I'd choose. No one has tried to have sex with me yet. o.o
Wow, thanks so much for passing it on! :D That means a lot to me.

@Debra: Aww, thank you so much. :) Crying brigade brings you consolatory tissues and candy and hugs. o.o

Maybe they haven't tried, but you are not sure if they haven't tought about it ;) haha !
Nah, just kidding ...
So maybe fans ... :3
But still, the main point is, that you should make some more :) It's too good to end like that.
