But is she ready to give up her current life to raise a family? Perhaps meeting a new person will put this into perspective.
Set in a pre-Industrial Revolution era, Beyond the Hills is a story of teenage friendship and growth.

Cyrene (18)
Daughter to an antiques dealer, Cyrene is a levelheaded woman who desires a family by arranged marriage because of her parents' successful partnership. Spends most of her time running errands around the city. Good friends with Riven.
Riven (16)
The daughter of a tailor and fine embroiderer, Riven is a cheery woman who speaks with casual language. Loves to go out to eat, because by her job she must stay indoors most of the time. She is currently in a 1-year courtship with her suitor William.
Fjord (17)
The son of a fabrics manufacturer and dealer, Fjord is an ordinary man trying to escape an extraordinary family. His endeavors include hiding as a hobo, hiking in the hills around town, and escorting women through the South Side. Cherishes his freedom most of all.

About the creators:
Elowan is a two-time NaNoWriMo winner under the name ByVirgo, as of this post. After diving into visual novels four years ago by accidentally clicking Pirates in Love in the google play store, she vowed to add "make a visual novel" to her bucket list before she completed school.

pweh (no capitalization intended) is a two-time NaNoWriMo winner under the name Alruba, as of this post. She is consistently prone to rushing the final third of her projects in the last 24 hours, but is always reliable in completing the job. Likes to say "pweh" when there's nothing else to say.
