The Call [short, mystery][Ludum Dare 26]
This is my first game ever and my first run at using Ren'Py.
Created in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare 26 jam (it should have been done for the 48 hour compo but being my first time
making a game I obviously messed up stuff and got late for the delivery ).
It is an interactive story where you receive a phone call from someone who has some urgency to tell you some "answers"...
It is sort of a kinetic novel more than a visual novel since, even if there is required input from the user and an important
choice in the end, the story itself is linear.
It is very short (around 2000 words), it can be completed in less than ten minutes.
The game automatically saves you progress (you'll understand why when you'll play it).
Give it a try if it inspires you and let me know what do you think.

I also want to thank PyTom and this whole forum because if I completed my first game it is mainly thanks to the Ren'Py engine and to the useful info I found on this board. Thanks a lot to everyone!

I wished I saw the other one though :v

In the end, I chose the
"Thanks, but I'm not Dan" option
Along with that, I really liked how the phone isn't ringing anymore, after you got one ending lol.I wished I saw the other one though :v

Thanks you for the feedback, I really appreciate it! And don't worry, you are not missing out on much... Both the "endings" are just 4 lines of text put there to end the call, so either choice doesn't matter that much (even though one is more amusing than the other, I guess ).

Oh, this game is great. I like the story, the concept, and that at the end you get to choose your ending.
