Whew, I finished!
A small VN with 7 endings to test out different features of Ren'Py xD
It was finished in about one week and barely has a real story behind it but I would be glad if someone takes the time to check it out! ^^
The Plot (or something like that)
This city I live in is colorful and dazzling. But it is also grey. So grey.
...
Almost as grey as the people who live there.
I do not whish to be one of them. Certainly not.
And that's why I will leave this place.

You can download it here

I love how customised and professional-looking everything is! Your artwork is really wonderful. :)

I've gotta admit... I've only played through once, but I didn't really have much of an idea as to what was actually going on...
Or if there's really much difference between 'I don't know' and 'I'm not sure', heh! I was pretty much just picking choices at random after a while - it might have been a little better if you gave the player some idea what each choice might lead to...?

The premise seems really interesting, though, so I'll definitely give it another shot. Well done!

Thank you very much!^^
Well, I tried making the menu choices not too obvious but I guess they ended up being kinda obscure x,DDD I'll try making things a little more clearer next time^^

And about the actual story... I basically started writing out of the blue, so yeah xD

Played the German version. Short but beautiful. I got endings 6, 3, 1 in that order. Not sure if I'll go back for the other endings. Ending 6 was by far the most satisfying.

Minor quibble: the save/load screen is so that dark it's difficult to see the boundaries of the empty slots.

A really great game, I had fun playing it. The story was kind of deep also, which I liked. I got all endings except for 5. I got them in this order - 6, 1, 4, 2, 7, 3. My favorite must have been 1. :D

Fun little game - thanks! I got endings 6, 3, 4, 5, 2, 1. I also am impressed at how customised all the bits of the interface are: if it weren't for the contents (as opposed to the presentation) of the prefs and load/save screens, I wouldn't know it was a Ren'Py game at all. Very impressive. Interesting storyline too. It wasn't clear what choice would lead where, but for a short thing like this that doesn't really matter. Thanks for the game!

Played! Definitely an interesting game. It has something of an other worldy feel to it. I would have liked for more of it to be pieced together, but I still enjoyed it. I like the art and all the customization that went into this as well. Thank you for sharing. ^-^

I played it yesterday (got three different endings) and really liked it :3 Short and lovely.
I loved the interface customization, and the title screen was awfully cute <3 Great music choice too!
Thanks for sharing :D

This game is awesome :D! And what for a coincidence that you are German, too, no XD?
Artwork, UI and Story are great, but when I got the endings of the "bad endings" this music was quite scary XD!

xDD Okay okay bei manchen steht das ja da und ihr hattet doch irgendwo hier ein Thema über die praktisch nicht existierende deutsche VN-Szene gemacht oder XD?

But I think we should go back to talking English XD I know how it feels like if you can't understand anything lol

Consider me another part of the "non-existant German-language visual novel community". It's a fact: if you want your games to be played by a larger audience, you have to create them in English. (Or Japanese...)

Oh great, another one :D! Hi ^_^
Someday there will be a German audience, I believe XD As you said it's quite an advantage being able to speak/write English. I can't count the times I borrowed Japanese learning books from the library without opening the first page lol.
How is it with Korean audience btw? I am South Korean so this could be interesting too.

But maybe we should discuss this somewhere else ^^" Sorry
