One of the administrators of Ludum Dare has written a book of tips for surviving a Game Jam. A Game Jam is a challenge where you create a game in a certain amount of time -- like NaNoRenO.

I bought it and read it "cover to cover" (I bought the ebook version -- no covers  ) It is a great compilation of tips and advice about how to make a game within a deadline. I found it well balanced in that it covers different types of games and not just platformers and shooters.

AND best of all: it suggests Ren'Py as a good framework to use!

It looks pretty interesting :) . How much is the ebook? I might get it when I have the money.
