Hey guys, I got to know just seconds before that I need some texts for my graduation exam in English.
I´ve got to have 15 texts with a minimum word count of 1000 + a maximum of 3 texts out of the same sources.

So what I´m asking about is:

Do you guys have any interesting sites for one(or more) of the following themes?
Or do you even know an interesting essay about such a theme?
You would help me quite a lot, but mostly I would like to at least have some source-sites :/

Themes:
  • Aeronautics and Aviation
  • Alternative Energies(Solar, OTEC, Geothermal, Wind, Waste, etc.)
  • Automotive Engineering(Cars, Engines,...)
  • Computer Applications(Smart Home, Internet, Virtual Reality,...)
  • Environmental Protection
  • Food Technology(Brewing, Distilling..)
  • Genetic Engineering
  • Global Problems(Overpopulation, Urbanisation, Famine,...)
  • Health & Fitness and Medicine
  • Household Electronics
  • Hydraulics (Cranes, Rams,...)
  • Robotics and Automation
  • Space Flight
  • Telecommunication(Cordless Phones, etc.)
  • Transport and Traffic
  • World of Work(Safety, Unemployment, new Jobs, Telework, Part-time Work, Flexi-time,...)

Just to say it: I DO NOT beg you to do my "homework" or preparation for exams. I mostly just want to get some useful sites! But if you know something more specific I naturally would be glad :D

Thanks in Advance ~

How long does it have to be? The only books I know of that cover those topics are either instruction manuals or college textbooks... ^3^; However I read plenty of articles on sciences, so if you just need an article I can get you some.

;D

The teacher meant it shouldn´t be written in "amateur"-English although I don´t know in what way this is defined... It´s not like I am seriously taking topics like "I like baseball. Baseball is healthy. Baseball is a sport..." <.< ^^

And I would forever love you for pointing out some interesting articles <3

On another board I got (for example) http://discovermagazine.com/topics/technology recommended. Already found some interesting pieces which I could choose out of :)

http://www.projectrho.com/rocket/ is a pretty good site for space flight related things, though it's mostly a resource for writers who want more realism in their SF works.
Of course that means it's pretty approachable for laypeople. I'm not sure if it's the kind of site you're looking for.
