I've not really talked to PyTom, but nothing I've read on these forums makes me think he's "a dick." But even if there were mistakes made, admins are human, too. They aren't a godlike entity that makes perfect decisions all the time and knows everything.
When you have a problem with someone/something, discussing it in a calm manner will always produce a better result than calling names or being aggressive. Rather than creating an attack thread out of your frustration, just try talking things over calmly and with an open mind.

Calling people out on their political beliefs is also not right when it has nothing to do with the situation. It's incredibly immature and intolerant, which is something I see complained about a lot. People who are constantly asking for tolerance should not in turn be intolerant. Now that's hypocritical.

I don't know what happened. I don't care. This is nobody's business, but for those involved and shouldn't even be visible. All it's doing is upsetting people, which if that's your goal... congrats?

I've been looking at the timestamps for all the posts in the problem threads, and I've noticed the threads that have the most rapid fire posting are always the most hurtful. would it be a problem to make it a convention not to post too quickly on the same thread? I know there's been mention of whether or not blocking users from posting for small amounts of time is reasonable for solving problems, but even outside of problematic threads I really don't see much usefulness in one user posting on the same thread multiple times within even a couple hours. the only time I can think of where that would be good would be in the renpy help section when someone is having trouble understanding.

That's basically what they did in previous problematic threads. I liked it, but it was heavily criticized (mainly in legendary thread called The Controversy).

A highly entertaining read. I hope Py'Tom paid you well for it? ^_^

And so after a long thinking and lots of discussion, I decided to ban Dollywitch from this forum. And give a warning to other involved party. I just can hope this won't happen again in the future. If you dissatisfied about something, please discuss it with admin team via PM and if we can't grant your wishes, it's not because we hate you. And also don't make personal attack.

I will keep this thread open for a while in case some one want to post something useful. Meaning if someone trolling or posting something breaking forum rules, I will lock it immediately. Since I think we don't have anything to say anymore anyway...

I support your decision, as I have seen what Dollywitch has done in other threads (one in particular). You are one of the admins after all, and I trust you and the others worked this out over a long amount of time.

I also agree with your statement. Issues like this really should be handled privately... I hope this is resolved and that it doesn't happen again (at least for a long while).

To be honest, I think immediate ban is usually the best solution. Mods being tolerant are sometimes resulted in being called a dick (That I have learned when I was a mod in a certain site... I never wanna to be ┐('～`；)┌ )

Yes. You can change! Jesus still love you and waiting for you! It's a good news, isn't it.
Also the reason why i choose creating Rejoice with RenPy for creating Visual Novel which mainly known as ecchi , is as a proof, that i who is used to be a sinner, was changed by Jesus Christ. (You might sometime notice that the name "tkhnoman" was a hentai drawer in the past.)

My suggestion if you want to be holy: Porn is dangerous, never think that you are strong enough to deal with them.
If you have a book/picture/ecchi anime at the PC, immediately delete them. If you think porn is dangerous from the internet, then find a way to block them.(There might be any other porn site to be accessed, i know, but it is a movement that will make you remember, that you want a change, and God will help you out.) This is also known as cutting your hand/pluck out the eye that being told at the Bible(Mat 18:8-9). It's just throwing away things that you like, and blocking the way to the sin itself.
Remember! Even after you're being free from it for 5 years, you won't be strong enough to take a peek for a while at a sexy hentai drawing.
