There are lots of otome games! It's just... the lot of them are for Playstation 2, just like other renai games. XD And a lot are probably yaoi. XDD! (Oh, they're translating some popular yaoi games to English, though~! Pretty weird; I don't know of any Japanese GxB games that have been officially translated to English yet... :<)

... Actually, I've noticed that the Nintendo DS has been putting out a lot of renai games that used to be out for Playstation! There's a surprising amount of otome games released. O: Angelique Duet Hiku Toshi Monogatari, Tokimeki Memorial: Girl's Side (1st Love and 2nd Season), Otometeki Koi Kakumei Love Revo!, VitaminX, Duel Love - Koisuru Otome wa Shouri no Joushin... 8D; But those aren't free. Hahaha....

The only english otome games that I know about are in the Ren'Ai Archives as mikey linked, and also papillon's hanakogames.com (which you have to buy, but of which I absolutely adore). xD So, yeah. If you know of any other places, tell me, too! D:

... I love otome games. o-o; I get uber excited when I see one, especially when it's in English. It's just... I don't really mind playing in the POV of a guy. XD;;;

There is Yo-Jin-Bo, it is a GxB game released in english by Hirameki - it may be hard to find now, I don't know. They also released Animamundi which was mostly aimed at girls, although it has a male as the lead <_<;;

There are some more free ones in Japanese. Look for "Prince Panic". And there's the flash games on nummyz.com

Yo azureXtwilight. I get what you're saying. Here's a few recommendations for what to do:

1. Offer to help Otome Eternal, the group which is fan translating Princess Nightmare for PC. They are looking for translators and programmers. See http://www.rikkaidai.net/otomeeternal/index.html They have a forum thread in the Cafe section of the My Neoromance forums.

2. Join the Otakuism forums at otakuism.com/bbs . This is the official BBS of the Peach Princess/JAST/G-Collections conglomerate. I've made a couple messages there in the last few months, advocating more BL games and otome games, mostly in their 'what to license next' thread. Just remember, this company is currently only able to license games from the cd-bros.co.jp and will-japan.co.jp companies. (Don't browse these links at work/school...)

3. Consider joining the Atlus forums. I've tried to promote some more creative and offbeat console games there. For instance, I've mentioned Otometeki Love Revo, Dear My Sun, and the Ouran Host Club PS2 game. Keep in mind that Atlus can't really license games from Konami, Square Enix, or Namco Bandai.

4. Try to organize your own translation circle. Even if all you can manage is a text translation, then that's better than nothing. Having a club of dedicated fans will help. (For instance, various people at GameFAQs have made text translations of at least one Harukanaru game, and all the Tokimemo Girl's Side games.)
