Lady Luck is a short visual novel currently being worked on by TwinTurtle Games. We have a few large projects that we're in the middle of, and we decided to release a short project in the meantime. LL should be a 30-45 minute playthrough, with four different endings to discover. The script is mostly complete, other than a few incidental scenes, and all the endings, interactions, and important scenes are in the editing phase. Art is just getting started, which is why this is in the 'Ideas' section for right now. We're hoping to release before the start of NaNoRenO, if all goes well!

The story: You play a young man named August, who's found himself in over his head in debt. Lacking a job and needing to pay off his debts as quickly as possible, he turns to a nearby casino in the hopes that he'll get a lucky break. There he meets a lady named Julie, who seems to spend all her time at the casino's bar, making rude remarks about other customers. Despite her unpleasant demeanor, August finds himself intrigued by her...

August and Julie are the two main characters of the story. There will be a bit of interaction with the bartender, but otherwise the game is based around how you have August talk to Julie, as well as decide when to spend your time at the bar and when to take your time at the slots. The game takes place over a single night, so you may want to find a balance between gaining money and possible romance!

Since art is still in progress, we don't have any sprites to show off just yet. But for now, there's some character art of August and Julie below:

I love the character concept for Julie! It really fits in with the description you gave of her. Just wondering, is this a stat-raising game? Also, if it takes course in only one night, will it be easy or hard to obtain certain endings? Other than that, I'll look forward to when this VN will be released! ^^

Ah, it won't be a stat-raising game. The only real goals will be to try to make as much money as possible, and to impress Julie as best as you can before the end of the night. I think that none of the endings will be too hard to obtain, but for the best ending you'll have to have some idea of what's going on with August and Julie and how they see each other.
