As someone who believes VNs have a lot of potential as teaching tools, I'm behind this project 110%.

The #renpy IRC channel is a great place to chat with other devs. Due to the nature of IRC and timezone differences, people probably won't reply right away.

lsdkfjsdfk I'm so so super excited for this as well! It's about time we have something more newbie-friendly than the tutorial game (which is informative, but I still think that anything beyond Ren'py basics/quickstart is poorly explained). Programming is a major barrier for those who aren't familiar with it at all, I just know this is going to be incredibly helpful. I hope development is proceeding smoothly so far?

It is! I have received a lot of support and offers of help, so I should be able to work on a demo soon if all goes well! I want to show everyone that programming in Ren'Py shouldn't scare one away and is a lot easier than it may appear at first. This seems like a really cool idea! I'll be glad to help out in the story department, and maybe a bit of coding. I'll also be able to help out in beta-testing for Mac or maybe Windows.
