So recently I've been working on a project with a few people, and thought it was at the point that I should share it with you~!
Bound
~A Tales of the Supernatural novella~
Plot: In a world where demons go bump in the night and supernatural creatures alike roam in hiding among humans, for Raiya Colton life can't be easy as a supernatural herself. Danger will come from any direction and this time it comes from her past. Fates will collided, pain will be faced and Raiya will learn to become someone she can believe in with a certain someone by her side...
Characters:
Raiya Colton
She’s a sixteen year old, outcast member of the Gifted Society for having the rare gift in mental specialisation. Her powers vary and throughout Bound she finds more strength and ways to utilize it. Her personality is mostly silent due to cutting herself off from people after the massacre of her parents, although when with Nicolai she opens up due to the fact that she doesn’t feel the need to cut off from him. With others it’s more of a working process. Other than that she has a high intelligence and a great understanding of the psychology of people. Her exterior is cool, calm and collected, shut off from the world.
Physical Traits: straight black hair, hangs past her shoulders and stunning dark red eyes with orange flecks. She has an average height and a lean build, that more of a dancer, a pale skin tone and eyes are her most defined feature.
Nicolai Maurows
He’s just recently turned seventeen. With them he has been trained since birth to harness his Keeper abilities and destroy demons, as is the duty of the Keepers. Due to the death of his brother Nicolai has a very protective and determined personality along with being outgoing, he has a goal to help and protect his friends, but also fears not being strong enough to do so.
Physical Traits: very white blonde hair that touches his ears and hangs in his eyes. Nicolai is rather tall, definitely not short, he has muscle worked into his body and is right in the middle of being lean and bulky. His eyes are a bright jade with an undertone of silver. His white hair is his most defining feature.
Lilia Maurows
She’s a middle-aged woman and highly recognized warrior and researcher. She’s a powerful fighter and key part to Bound in the way that she showed her motherly kindness towards Raiya immediately, something she hadn’t experienced since her mother’s death.
Physical Traits: Long blonde hair hanging past her shoulders and deep emerald green eyes, slightly similar to Nicolai’s. She has sun-kissed skin and height at 5”5ft, then almost dainty in appearance with hidden physical strength. Defined mostly by the emerald eyes.
Slade Regan
He’s a middle-aged man and a top warrior. Raiya pegged his personality as cocky and confident when they met and he’s generally a dominant personality used to giving out orders.
Physical Traits: dark blue eyes with green flecking through them. Dark brown hair cropped military short and average height; 5”7ft.
Marco Lemay
His age is never really mentioned, Marco is a well known Gifted in the supernatural world. This is because his power is strong and the fact that he is constantly taking in Gifted that have been orphaned due to their heritage. He is obviously a compassionate person, strong and firm in the protection of his Gifted.
Physical Traits: most dominant trait is his pure golden eyes, when he uses his gift the colours simply shift and swirl. Also tall and refrained, seemingly strong build, with fair skin tone and medium brown hair.
Beck Torres
He would have been eighteen and was a strong Keeper. He’s a southern troll master, who has a habit of coming off as flippant and a little sarcastic, although he cares a lot about his duty as a Keeper and his friends. Also in an oddity from most Keepers he holds no resentment towards regular Supernatural.
Physical Traits: dark spiked black hair with hints of brown. Beck has a very tanned skin tone and tall at 6”2ft he is rather bulky with muscle from his training. Hazel green eyes.
Miles Remirez
He’s a sixteen year old, junior Keeper. Hacking is a big hobby of his. Miles character is very laid-back and a submissive personality, he’s a comfortable person to be around.
Physical Traits: Short blonde hair, spiked up. He’s fairly short for his age with both Beck and Nicolai taller than him. Like most Keepers he has a bit of muscle but substantially left, also a lot thinner. Has light blue eyes (not sure if they’re ever specified), medium/tanned skin tone.
Edward (Eddie) Bryant
He’s a seventeen year old member of the Gifted society and one of the supernatural in the care of Marco Lemay. Eddie’s personality is very wry, a little cold sometimes with wariness of others. Even so he also manages to be very sarcastic and he sometimes could come off as rude, especially with his initial acting towards Raiya.
Physical Traits: Raven black hair that hangs down in dark locks past his ears and deep dark eyes a shade of brown with black flecks that will change to full on black when in intense focus while training with and aiming weapons. Taller than average at 5”8ft he has quite a bit of natural muscle although not extremely fit. He has a dark olive/brown skin tone.
