So, basically, this is an idea of mine that, depending on whether or not I'll need help/get that help, I may try turning into a VN.

Soul On FireThemes/Genres :
Fantasy, Mystery, Dark, GxB (possibly)Onto The Idea! :
‘Earth was the beginning of All and Everything.
It harbored life, made the water flow, lit the fire's warmth, catered to the world's kindness, blew the air into existence.
Of course, when there was rebellion, the earth was at first displeased. It fought back in the practically one-sided battle, for the earth was the ultimate one, and brought the rebels to their knees with ease. They scurried off, back into the shadows in which they came.
But the earth began seeing new things with its infinite eyes. Life didn't need be peaceful and happy; it could be chaotic and mad. Water didn't need be calm and soothing; it could be rushing and rapid. The world didn't need be kind and good tempered; it could be cruel and heartless. The air didn't need be pleasant and soft; it could be strong and vindictive.
This new, dark side became fascinating. But there was still one that had been forgotten, one that continued to hold back. It was fire. Attempting to soothe the mad-minded one with the warmth of the flame failed...
And thus, finally losing to the fury and hatred, the fire burned with a destructive light never before seen. Seeing the true power of the fire once undone stunned even the crazed others, who finally opened their eyes. Seeing this, they stopped, fearing that they too would become like the murderous creature that had been created before them.
The earth's reign became weakened, to the point where it was possible that it had even failed completely. The ones created by the earth are forever reminded of this through the Cycle of Rebirth, as so such mistakes are never made again.
Because no mistake is forgivable once made more than once. Remember these words, Reborn One, the Spirit of the Flame.
For you are Flamma, the one of Warmth and Destruction. There is a thin line between the two.
Make sure you are careful of which one you are using.’
These are the words that Flamma has heard over a thousand times over through the Cycle of Rebirth. Being the most violent and free of all the Wordly Spirits, she has been through this cycle more than any of the others. Though, for the last millenium, such has not been the case. After her immense display of what fire could really do once provoked, the others spirits decided that it was high time that the "dangerous one" had been locked up, cleverly and for good. And did they indeed imprison her quite cleverly. Trapped in a tower portuding from the sea and bound by chains of ice, over time, she weakened to the point where not even the stars, glowing masses of white fire that once lit hope within the hearts of the humans, could be seen in the night sky. To the humans, fire is a myth now; long gone and extinct forever. A mere child's fantasy.
But when flames find a way to light themselves again and the other spirits attempt punishment upon Flamma, she finds herself awake one morning and, more importantly, she finds herself far from the tower's confines. While attempting to regain her lost power, avoid imprisonment, and discover why the fire has come back agan without her doing so, what sort of dark secrets will Flamma unfold?
CharactersFlamma, The Spirit of FlameInfo.: The main character of the story. She's very stubborn, short-tempered, blunt, sarcastic, and a bit negative. Not only that, but one must always be wary when crossing paths with her, as Flamma has a knack for holding grudges. Clever and perceptive, she's also known to be quite assumptious and relies very strongly on her (usually accurate) intuition. Naturally, she doesn't particularly like Flumen and Aequora, but she especially dislikes Aequora and the Spirit of the Wind, Ventus. The only one Flamma truly despises is Natura, though.
Volcanus, The Spirit of the VolcanoInfo.: Volcanus is the other fiery spirit, but instead of being directly "imprisoned", he was forced into dormancy by the other spirits as they thought that the volcano's fearsome eruptions were life-threatening to, well, life. He holds a special hate in his heart towards not one, not two, but all of the other spirits. The only one he gets along with is Flamma. He has quite a temper, but once truly in a fury, he can be quite dark and menacing. Volcanus has a bit of a tendency to hold in his emotions and his thoughts, though, whenever he finally reaches his snapping point, he lets it all out at once in one deadly explosion, just as a volcano does. Other thanthis, he can be somewhat childish and refuses to do anything that goes against his beliefs, regardless of the context or the situation.
Aequora, The Spirit of the OceansInfo.: As is the way of the seas, Aequora is the harsher, colder, and more aggressive flip-side to water. He was put in charge of checking up on Flamma during her time in the tower and Flamma therefore holds a special anger towards him. Deliberately offensive and intimidating, Aequora prefers intelligence over brute strength and "childish fits of anger" (or, "temper tantrums", as he likes to say). He's a strong believer and will go to immense (sometimes extreme) lengths to ensure that nothing is threatening his way of belief, and he is exceedingly loyal to Natura.
Ventus, The Spirit of the WindInfo.: Ventus is a bit like the ill-tempered recluse of the group of spirits. He's a bit of a free-thinker but seems to have generally no preference towards the group's actions and intentions, as long as the things that are well-hidden in this world stay that way. He seems to know more than any of the other spirits; Natura included. There's nothing he hates more than people getting into his private business and affairs, as he is like the wind, and values his freedom and mysterious privacy above everything else. Once provoked or angered, one should begin counting their blessings, for no one can escape the wind.
Natura Veta, The Spirit of Nature and LifeInfo.: Natura, being the current "Ultimate One", is a bit like the leader of the spirits. In turn, what he protects and watches over--life, specifcally--is valued the most out of all the spirits' protected purposes. Hence the reason for the forced "getting rid of" Flamma and Volcanus, as they're unpredictability was proven a danger to life, which is completely unacceptable. Natura himself is a bit laidback, but possesses undeniable leadership qualities, but at the same time he's extremely fair-minded and would never convict someone who is innocent of something before knowing every side of the story. And though it is not known, Natura actually feels unbelievably guilty over taking away Flamma's and Volcanus's purposes simply in the name of "what is right".
Flumen, The Spirit of the RiverInfo.: Flumen is the most timid spirit, mirroring the easily disturbed ripples in a pond or river. She hates taking sides because she feels that if she takes one side, then she's inconveniencing another side and is therefore making enemies as well as allies. Flumen tries her best to remain neutral in conflicts and if she really has to take a side, then she prefers not to openly say anything biased to imply she truly believes in what is being done. Sadly, despite all this, she's terribly benevolent too, which is the biggest issue between her and Flamma, considering Flamma's vivid and violent personality. And if there's anything that can tip Flamma over the edge, it's being told to calm down after she's already in a rage.
Aer, The Spirit of the AirInfo.: Aer is the wisest of the spirits, in a way. She's the only one who will stand firm in her decision to always hear both sides of an argument, even if it personally includes her and her own emotions. She's very mellow and has no friends or enemies, making her the perfect overseer in a disagreement. But cross her and get on her bad side, then be prepared to suddenly be unable to breathe in the air. Aer, like Aequora, is a very strong believer and can be extreme in her pushing of such beliefs, and in which case she can come off as a bit of a fanatic who only sees what she herself believes.
Petra Lapis, The Spirit of Rock and StoneInfo.: Unlike the other spirits, Petra is actually a very dwarf-ish looking woman. She's quite irritable and moody and a bit hotheaded as well. She doesn't care much about the sorts of impacts her words may have, because, for one thing, she really doesn't see how saying such things can affect a person, and, for another thing, she simply doesn't think before speaking. Petra is a hard-headed, somewhat thoughtless, and free-thinking woman who listens to no one---not even Natura, if she just so decides that she doesn't agree with him.
Okay, and those are the characters and main plot idea. As I don't have a tablet, ipad, or any device of that sort, I can still upload pictures, but I can't color in the character sprites (when I get them up). If possible in any way, I'd like to have someone who can color in the sprites, but if not, then I'll have to figure something out, somehow. So, um...yeah!

What do people think of the idea? Questions, thoughts, anything? Would anyone play it if I made this into a game? And if I do end up doing that, I'm just going to say now that it would be FREE. Because free is amazing for everyone
