I'm currently working on a moderate-to-semi-large-ish sized VN project, and am interested in recruiting voice actors.
A summary of the project and other information can be found here
The positions for the male leads have already been filled, but the rest of the cast is still available.
I have picked the sample from a complete script, to best cover the required vocal and emotional range. As such, spoilers abound!
AVAILABLE ROLES:
Major characters:
Lucille
A young magic user. She is soft-spoken and not particularly confident. She is also the most overtly emotional of the cast, and can come off as immature.
voice type: Female, early teens, light, airy, somewhere between childish and mature.
sample lines:
delivery: Shy and tentative, but happy."Anyway, um, I was just in town, perusing the stores, if you wish to join me..."
delivery:Extremely sad, unsure of how to formulate thoughts."Please understand. Cadfael*'s safety has always been a burden I placed on myself. I never trusted anyone else."
*pronounced 'cad-file' for reference.
Kuruk
(koo-rook)
An armored, anthropomorphic bear. Generally quite jovial despite his intimidating appearance.
voice type: Mature, early 40's, masculine, a bit of a gravelly edge is preferred.
sample lines:
delivery: Friendly and enthusiastic."I don't believe so. Let me introduce myself. My name is Kuruk, and who might you be?"
delivery: Shouting, mostly anger with a hint of desperation."So be it! If you will not, I will!"
Minor characters:
Darnell
An old mage. He seems to have done things in his past he is not proud of.
voice type: Elder male, somewhat feeble.

delivery: Inquisitive but nervous"I apologize, I did not mean to stare, however I could not help but notice something."
delivery: Overcome with grief and panic."What else was I to do!? I had witnessed every one of my colleagues perish! To what purpose could my resistance possibly have served!?"
Walter's mother
The main character's mother. Very minor role. She is down to earth and caring, but ultimately not very involved in her son's life.
voice type: mature female, early 40's

delivery: Curious, cheery."By the way, I heard voices from your room, were you talking to someone?"
