Hail all! I'm a bit curious if there are any conventions that all of us go to. Are there any conventions specifically for VNs or people who make them? Are there panels or meetup rooms for VN fans and creators at big national conventions? If not, what conventions are people planning to go to this year?

I'm a big fan of this community and I'd like to meet more people who are involved!

There aren't any VN only cons that I know of, and most meetups tend to be small/between friends sort of things. I show up occasionally to some Midwestern US ones (Otaku Omaha, Nebraskon, AnimeIowa, ect...). Most of the time I am on staff, but I do run the occasional panel. I SHOULD be at Nebraskon this year, which is going to be the only convention I'll make it to. Quite sad, really.

Well, there's PAX Dev. It's not focused on VNs, but it seems like the stuff that goes on there would be relevant, since it's game-making in general.

However, you have to be a student/developer to actually go there yourself. Not sure how strict the requirements are, or what their definition of developer actually is, but... *shrug*
