Would writing a visual novel in second person point of view be bad? The first VN I'm planning to do is more like a choose-your-adventure type of story (a lot of choices, and not much focus on the MC's characteristics, and thoughts, so first person doesn't really fit.
I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum to post in.

Second person POV is an option. It almost never appears in professionally published fiction, but that should not prevent you from choosing it. If you honestly believe that it would be the most appropriate perspective for your story, then choose it.

If you're still considering which POV to use, then make sure to consider your options.

Second person is mostly used in choose-your-own-adventure, RPG text, and text adventures. There's nothing wrong with using it for a game, particularly if you feel your game is closer in style to those than to Standard Japanese Monologue. :)

I love second person games, but it really depends on your audience and your game in my opinon. They work a lot better for games with a lot of choices rather than a lot of text. Writing a lot of content in second person can get annoying fast.
