"Wonderland"-like setting, except the only concept that is similar is its existence.

MC falls asleep (perhaps after a significant event) and gets a lucid dream of a troubled world. When she tries to solve it, the world warps and she faces a doppelgänger while loosing the lucidity, ruining all her attempts to solve the mystery.
Each morning she wakes up feeling disturbed but she doesn't remember much about the dream.
It happens multiple times, with her doing more grosteque things and her crimes get worse until she goes crazy because she feels disgusted with herself for no (known) reason.

I might have gotten lazy with the ending, but I'm just pouring that out there.
NaNoWriMo also demands another 1k, so it explains the lack of explanation.

Here's an idea that popped into my mind whilst walking home one day:

The story is of a mean and nasty high school girl who hates school is the embodiment of the spoiled rotten rich bitch. The prolouge of the story literally is made just to make you despise her, which ends with her being pushed down a staircase, where she dies from the fall. Here is where the story begins for real: she finds that she now tethered to the school and can't proceede to the afterlife since her soul is far too weak to survive the journey. This fact is told too her by a pair of twins who also haunt the school. They tell her she has to gain strength by either helping or imparing the humans who work and study inside the school grounds. She starts off with a dark-gray karma (Very amoral, but holds some vurtues) and you go from there. I was thinking of having each event be told like a short story, with the stories varying based on what her karma is when she enters it. After completing (lets say 6 stories) she depending on her karma, she can
either be dragged to Hell (Black to dark gray karma) remain bounded to the school for an unpecified time (Grey karma) move on to heaven (light grey to white karma) or recieve the opportunity to return back to the day she died and change her fate (pure karma, which would require you to essencially have a perfect run)

Why does this sound so eerily similar to the backstory and game mechanics of one of the characters in my current project?

Reminds me of that show 100 deeds for eddie mcdowd, except the main character being a ghost is more interesting that being a dog.

Not so much an idea for a game, but I'd love to see a reference to Johnny Five Aces, complete with a CG that has him in his pose found in his concept art (or something similar!) :P

Pertaining to Uncle Mugen's brilliant post full of handsomeness and win in this thread -

Wouldn't it be cool if there was an "EVN TCG" game?
No idea how the gameplay and rules would work, no idea how it would be implemented, but the idea of everyone submitting "Theme Decks" based on the characters and events in their games sounds like it would be fun. You could play with one story's deck or collect the cards from multiple stories and make your own super-deck. And the gallery feature could be implemented as your "card album".

I think it would be fun to play.
(It would not, however, be fun to make, at all, and would also probably contain gratuitous spoilers for everything.)

My tribute to NaNoWriMo. Warning: NaNo Terminology.

For the Love of Writing

YOU are pantsing this year's NaNo, hoping to the world that inspiration will come to you when it deems it so. In effort to escape your insufferable roommate/family who doesn't understand NaNoWriMo at all, you decide to find a Write-in.
Conveniently, the start of the month falls on a Sunday, so people are filing in this particular library to write together. This is where you meet the [number] boys/girls.
Before leaving, the dateables are telling you where you can find them if you want a write-in. This is your chance.

Will you find love... and plot?

Depending on who you talk to, you will get random pieces of plot. Eg FC1 talks about, say, medieval, and you get that piece. FC2 is cyberpunk, FC3 likes historical, etc. Insert ninjas.

My current hope for the ending is that the novel will be absolutely random. It would also be nice to have several pieces that are randomized, so there's a bigger novel pool. They won't make sense, but that's what first drafts are for, right?
Perhaps a way needs to be found to prevent the same piece from coming up again.

Bonus points for a Mr. Ian Woon.
Double points if the novel has typos.

Memo:
This is a shonen-ai-game.
But the main person can - of course - be whatever seems confiniend.

I once thought about a game where the mein character is having extreme charisma. Literally.
For reasons I never really thought about he has the power to influence the feelings of people.
When he gets scared, others will. When he is happy, everyone will start to laugh. When he is angry, there will be a huge fight all over the place. Don't even imagine what would happen if he gets aroused in an public place...

Well, he had to change school because of that again. He's called a enchanter at the last school and everyone thought that he even might be a terrorist working with nerve gas to influence everyone around him. But things didn't change, he is still avoided and people notice way too fast that strange things happen around him. Especially since everyone influenced by him totally forgets what happens in that time. So if you are laughing for 5 minutes because he is happy, you will not know what happened the last 5 minutes once he leaves the room and frees you of his power.

The only person immune to this is his grandma who took him in after his parents got scared of him and left.

The main character is a silent person, good at school with the esception of history (causing everyone to get a crying fit regulary). He loves to draw and is totally mesmerized by the leader of the archer team as a model. He does make sketches of him often unknown to that person. The leader of the art club is not his model but his idol, since he was already able to have his own exhibitions.
It soon happens that the art club leader will show signs of affection.
You also meet the archer team leader often in the staircase, looking at you with lots of mistrust.
Depending on your choices the main character will either bond with the art club leader, the archer team leader or both.

Art club leader:
The picture the main character loves the most from the leader is revealed to be himself as an amorous version of himself. The art leader is also revealed to be seemingly immune to the power of the main character (hinted before since he would remain calm when the other students start laughing or crying). But he still succumbs to strong feelings, making it easy for him to realize the situation, once he gets to know of the feelings from the main person as being returned.

Archer team leader:
He is skeptical because he was once there when a friend of him was influenced and didn't remember later. He finds out himself that he is the secret model of the main person and is even able to realize the powers of him. The leader tells that he felt someone was watching, but couldn't explain since the art room window is always blind during training because of the sun. He accepts the feelings and returns them later.

Both:
This situation comes up if the main character is willing to get molested by the art leader. The archer leader will suddenly appear and it becomes obvious that both know each other. If the main character follows that story line it becomes known that they are half brothers (different mothers) and are both interested in the main character and are arguing because of that. It is possible to decide for one or being unable to decide, making the two leaders simply make a threesome pair out of it. Both lose their partial immunity in this constellation due to the much higher emotions of the main character, making them vulnerable for his feelings, but at least keeping their memories.

It somehow...didn't want to be made. I tried it as a novel, as a manga, as a game...
It just doesn't want to be made by me ôo

That sounds interesting, except that if they don't remember the times when MC is being particularly happy at an advance in relationship, how do they start liking him? Since, you know, all the happy times are just something that happened but forgotten.

I thought I had written that ôo
No, both are kind of immune to his powers, so of course they also remember them (the art leader is totally immune, the archer leader can only be taken in by extem strong feelings). In the Both-ending they become vulnerable to it, but still are not becoming forgetful, only easier to manipulate. And when the feelings get real strong in either ending, then it is simliar to the both-ending. The artist as well as the archer react and become a bit manipulated, but it still is "moderate" and because of that they keep their memories (maybe getting a headache as result of getting manipulated insted of getting their memories wiped out)
But other characters except from those two and the grandma forget fast, which would result in funny moments in my thought of gameplay.

..............................................Or it would be kind of like "50 First Dates" where the challenge is to get them used to your powers or losing your powers or something like that while trying to hunt them down and get them still interested in you and raise their affection.
Hm, could be interesting too ôo

P.S.
The idea to why some are immune and others are not is simply, because he really tries to not influence them.
When he is in class, there are around 30 people, he can't protect everyone. But when there is a person that is important to him, he will able to almost always control himself somehow and unconciously make them an exception from his powers (he can't really coordinate it since he would just stop these powers totally if he could).

Well, why make a program for it? You could just make a rule set and cards and just play over Skype or something. XD

The Mugen card will be banned in any game sessions I host!

@Destiny; I see :o

Only with memory

Your other half is slowly losing her memory of your times together. She wants you to forget her, move on, but the only way for her to remember your relationship is to stay by her side. You realise that by doing that, you're turning away from opportunities the world presents.
The question is... will you stay, or will you expand your horizons? Meet new people, fall in love.
But she never really went away.

Idea: a kinetic novel set during a 15th or 16th century inquisition trial (à la Il formaggio e i vermi). Players can pick three routes, those being the viewpoints of either the heretic, the inquisitor, or the modern day historian. The dialogue is the same in all three routes, but everything else will be different. Both the heretic and inquisitor see a first person view from their own perspective, whereas the historian sees in third person. The heretic's thoughts are shown as present tense, inquisitor's as past tense and the historian's as if it were an article. That also means the historian's version doesn't have to work chronologically and spoils the result of the trial in its introduction. Viewing as the inquisitor, you have access to a database with relevant information on difficult subjects like transsubstantiation, while viewing as the heretic, you're left in the dark on such things.
The idea being that inquisition trials are a fascinating clash of cultures. Reading their transcripts, you feel that heretics and inquisitors attach different values and ideas to the same words and events, and it would be interesting to look at such a case from both sides.
