I know there is a number of you who are making the jump towards making commercial games, and one of the things that surprised me initially when working on games was the fact that a lot of the time I spent actually working on games was trying to get people to know that the games exist. I know we've heard a lot of things about using Kickstarter or Indiegogo for their projects, but there are additional ways you can bring up attention for your actual title. That being said, while my thoughts were based on going commercial, this could also be used to drum up interest for your free game as well.

While a lot of the stuff may seem like common sense, I thought this was a nice list so I thought I'd share. Cheers!
