The deadline for the demo is really close, and I'm not entirely sure if I can finish the demo in time, but I'm trying my hardest. A low-quality product would probably turn away some readers, so I'd rather make the demo as good as possible before releasing it... but then again, the upcoming anime convention would be a great opportunity to advertise the game. I don't know what I'll end up doing but for now, I'll work hard and try to finish the demo soon.

One of my artists finished a sketch of one of the BG's! The release is near, and it looks like the demo will be finished in time, thanks to my new editor, Shaples, my various artists and my coder/linguist, Tasmir!

Also, PARTY HARD! I finished the script for the demo, and I'm keeping to my deadlines - just barely. Sleep is for the weak but right now I almost feel like crying or something, so I'll head to bed soon.

The demo will be 5000 words long: shorter than I hoped it would be, but still, it works! Stay tuned for the demo on Friday.

I've been taking a little break from drawing assets but I've been concentrating on concept art, world design and game design.
The plan is to have two different game-like systems for battle situations and some other interactive elements but we'll see what actually makes it into the game - I don't want feature creep to destroy everything :'')
