Now here is a drawing (Not a sketch considering the time I took with this) that I am personally proud of.

Now, is it possible to get a bit of feedback on this?

Hmm... his neck seems a little too long, his hips are pretty wide and his legs are a little thick? Right now he has a bit of a feminine build. Also the ear looks a little low; the bottom of a person's ears should line up with the bottom of their nose and the top should line up with their eyebrows. Otherwise it looks pretty good. :D

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to communicate myself effectively with words alone, so I presumed to do a redline. I hope that that's okay! I included my steps: The red lines are tracing what I feel is the basic structure of your drawing, with a little fiddling for how I think the pose might change. The blue lines are the basics (sort of, got a little fiddly in parts) how I think they'd make sense looking, what with the underlying redlines. The blue overlaying your sketch is the one where I've nudged your image around to fit that basic shape, and the fourth image is the image without any lines over top. I realize that you've got a style going on, but I did a little fiddling around with details to see how it would look (for example, in the nose, the nails, the ear. X3) Those are completely extraneous, so don't worry about them! Hopefully the core changes are helpful, at least! Take it with a grain of salt: I know not everyone's perfectly proportioned, but that was what I was trying to get at with the nudges.

Thanks. Yeah, I've been trying to shrink those necks ^^;
And while I have handwaved this for my male characters...yeah, looks like it's back to the anatomy textbook...

Thanks for that :)

Gathering photo reference always makes the end result look better; doesn't have to be exactly the pose that you're looking for, but googling search words that make sense ('hand on hip' '2X year old man' etc.) can bring up similar images. (I always find that when I skip that stage, my art looks much worse. ;.;)

Funny, I did use a reference for the hand and legs, but not the body.
(And Hector is 35 D: )

(I wasn't speaking of Hector specifically, just tossing numbers out there! ^^;)

Ahh, that makes sense! I had thought that the hand looked a bit big for the body, but figured it was a stylistic choice. It's not a bad choice, of course! The only thing about the pants that seemed odd -- at least to me -- was that you were detailing a bunch of lines around the fella's hips and crotch that seemed like they didn't have to be there? I think that if you took those lines out and added some more subtle shading in their place, you'd get the same impression -- the lines and the shading that ended abruptly at the crotch area seem a bit much at the moment!

Yeah, I suck at shading >_>; Only recently have I begun to mess around with that sort of thing.

It's cool -- I know how you feel, man. My ability to pick colours and light sources and stuff is completely artificially hammered into my brain and I still mess it up with great regularity. XD It takes a lot of time to get to the point where you've internalized the shape of something (or someone!) so that you can just shade it how you imagine it'd look. Don't put yourself down! Persistence and observation are the thing!

I'm trying to finish all the sprites I need for the next Mnemosyne demo >,> It's a shame that this one appears only once and she's a figment of Mneme's imagination so she's not even real in the game... I'm going to have to redo all my old sprites to meet the new dimensions of the gameplay window... hopefully I've improved a bit Y.Y

Pierre would be the kawaiiest protag-chan~ (◕‿◕✿) ... yeeeeeeah.

Some mentioned something about Pierre being an otome protagonist. This happened... don't look at me like that...
