I'm pretty terrible at doing these, every time I try I fail quite badly. I was wondering how do the rest of the LSF artist do their BGs.

Oh wow I've seen your art before! I'm pretty sure I'm also watching you, thanks for the link I've never seen your newer BG tutorial before.

I use Wings3d or Sketchup and just draw it from them. Another good way is to just get yourself a Cheap Picture frame and stick it to a cheap tripod. Then draw what you see in it. Lastly you can just draw it.
