Choose your own adventure

#1 Post by ririruetoo »

Is there anyone else thats a fan of these sorts of games? As a kid I really loved the Choose your own adventure games, and I think that this is one of the major reasons I'm such a fan of VN. If you're interested in them, theres quite a few sites online to find them, one of my favorites is choiceofgames.com

Choice of Games have quite a few to choose from, and many are free to play. :D (Also they are all ALL AGES...Or pretty close to it at least, so don't worry about finding the unsuspecting porn one on this site.

I like the ones from that particular website. I've even played a couple of those pay-to-play ones, though I'm not very happy with the amount of freedom you're given over the course of the story. I've always liked CYOA games, but never had the patience for it back when you needed a paper just to write down the contents of your inventory and roll dices... Just too much of a hassle. I think modern technology did wonders for this particular form of nerdery.
