I just realized something that happens not only in my project, but also with the tutorial and the question.
If I go into fullscreen mode, the cursor won't hide at all, and this old thread talks about the cursor hiding itself after 30 seconds. In fact, after 30 seconds the cursor goes to the center of the screen, so it even becomes more annoying if you just moved it away.
Is this a known bug or I'm the only one with this issue? Is there a way to deal with it?

Yes. I have a same issue. It should be a bug.
