Alright, I downloaded Ren'Py and have created a new project. Then I clicked the 'script.rpy' under 'edit file'. When it asked me which editor I wanted I clicked the third one but instead of downloading it, windows 8 asked me
"How do you want to open this type of file ryp.?"
I'm positive it's supposed to download something instantly not ask me how to open it.
I clicked 'word pad' and it showed the script but of course the return button didn't work and I really don't know how I'm supposed to download it so it looks like the default editor???
Anyone else have windows 8 and know how to download the editor?
