Hi everyone,
I'm doing some tests with Android building. Everything works fine, except that I can't make my icon/splashscreen to work.
I've named the two files android-icon.png and android-presplash.jpg as described in the wiki, and placed them in my project base directory. When I come to my mobile, those images are ignored and the default ones are shown.
What I am doing wrong? May it be because I'm building on a Mac?
Thanks in advance
Using a custom icon and splashscreen on Android

Are you sure it's in the base directory, not the game directory? It should just work.

I confirm this as well.
The presplash is packaged (couldn't find the icon though, or at least it isn't in the same folder as games built with previous rapt versions) but default ones are picked instead. I personally worked around this by replacing the default ones with my own before building the package so that I could release the game.
I planned to try track down the version I used for the previous game before reporting this but honestly forgot about it...

Yeah, absolutely. It's in the base folder (I even located the files in both folders at the same time just in case the wiki had an error...)PyTom wrote:Are you sure it's in the base directory, not the game directory? It should just work.

Are you completely up to date? There was a bug that prevented those files from being included, but it's been fixed.

Re: Using a custom icon and splashscreen on Android
I have the same issues with the latest Ren'Py and RAPT (I think now it's 6.17.7)
The previous version (6.17.4) works well, I dunno what's wrong
