Android: OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

#1 Post by Karl_C »

When I try to build an Android package on 6.18.3.671, I get:
I'm compiling a short test program, to see if you have a working JDK on your
system.

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "game/android.rpy", line 247, in call
File "/home/tom/ab/x64lucid-deps/install/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 679, in __init__
File "/home/tom/ab/x64lucid-deps/install/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 1249, in _execute_child
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

I was unable to use javac to compile a test file. If you haven't installed
the Java Development Kit yet, please download it from:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... index.html

The JDK is different from the JRE, so it's possible you have Java
without having the JDK. Without a working JDK, I can't continue.
Of course, I don't have the files

"/home/tom/ab/x64lucid-deps/install/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py"

and

"/home/tom/ab/x64lucid-deps/install/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py"

on my computer?

Java Development Kit is installed btw:
$ javac -version
javac 1.8.0_40

IIRC, this error may be called if the android sdk fails to unzip properly. If you unzip it yourself, things may work.
