adding numpy functionality?

I'm evaluating renpy for constructing a game environment that may require the functionality provided in numpy. I see after a bit of searching around the forums - and just trying 'import numpy' - that it isn't provided in the customised python included in the renpy distribution for mac (haven't tried other platforms). I suppose it's a rather inconvenient module to include (suggested here: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... mpy#p76210).

So I have to ask though - is it possible to add numpy via a framework like renpygame? Or would I need to build a custom version of renpy or somesuch?

Or maybe I've missed something - like simply adding a pathway (somewhere?) to a system-wide installation of numpy...?

You'd have to build a custom version of Ren'Py.

Uhm...after a quick look at the source tarball, are there build instructions somewhere?

You can see what we have on http://www.github.com/renpy/renpy . But honestly - building Ren'Py is really hard.
