Problem with Sprites

#1 Post by riverbluesbear »

The sprites I have go into the game, but there is a white background behind them, and I have absolutely no idea how to get rid of it. I got rid of it in photoshop, but it still shows up in the game :\\

Are you perhaps saving the sprites as JPG files?
You'll need to use a format that supports transparency, like PNG.
Finished games
-My games: Sickness, Wander No More, Max Massacre, Humanity Must Perish, Tomboys Need Love Too, Sable's Grimoire, My Heart Grows Fonder, Man And Elf, A Dragon's Treasure, An Adventurer's Gallantry
-Commissions: No One But You, Written In The Sky, Diamond Rose, To Libertad, Catch Canvas, Love Ribbon, Happy Campers, Wolf Tails

Working on:
Sable's Grimoire 2

Save your images with Ctrl+Shift+Alt and the S key ("save for web and devices")
It's the same for other Adobe programs, take in count that programs like Pain and SAI won't be able to save with transparency at all.
