Hello, I have been seeing many people doing VN here, I actually want to try to make one myself. Is there anybody interested to make a music based romance VN here?

Any ideas for potential plot?

Lol, I do not think the emo dude will fit in here though. I actually wanted to do something that is somewhat light, and tear-jerking the same time. Maybe a bit of violence which can twist the plot. Want to make something that has no ero scenes, or maybe add ero scenes as a second release. Some jealousy can definitely be used to promote the violence, and competition.

Ah, but emo boys are almost a staple when it comes to romance games and music. Not 'real' emo but sorta a punk. School setting could work, maybe the MC gathers a band to win the school talent show.

I see you're still in the vague idea stage - so allow me to offer one of my own:
Mr. Jazz plays on the corner of the street for some years now, earning just enough to live. he's thirty something, never shaved, and reeks of vodka. But he has a rugged voice, and a charming personalty, attracting MC pretty lady. She tips him, they chat for a few scenes, followed by him going up to her apartment. Here you can put the erotic scene if you want.
In the morning she wakes up alone, 150 dollars missing from her wallet.
she searches for him in her car, seeing him in a different corner. should she could the cops? justice or romance?

Simple story, two endings.
You only need three backgrounds and two sprites.
As a challenge, the location should be in your state, and make him as likable as you can, making sure we're really torn about the decision.

Me too. It's very hard to make an idea for short VN. How could you think something up like that? Any tip?

Will probably make the uniform for school more exaggerated. Will do more angles of this same chara, coming later on when I get some time.

With a music story I think it's kinda hard to make a short story or even a long one (at least for me) but you can do some references to big bands like Led Zeppelin, Guns 'n Roses, Metallica, etc. Of course, only if the style is rock XD

Lol, I will keep that in mind. I will try to do some writing drafts of brainstorming, and see what happens. I will also do some scene sketches to get some ideas of where the story is going to go.
