Wahh, I don't know how I'm full of energy today, but besides getting a base GUI down I also have the main pose for Briar thought out... it looks so much better than before aaaahhhh
Lol, they're just different enough, and thank you. I really like how yours is coming it, it's a cute idea.
I like Briar's redesign, he seems closer to how you described him before. Before he looked kinda sad, and now he truly looks "expressionless" and like there's a personality behind it.
Ta-dah. Finally have a coloring style I'll stick with. It means I'll have to fix up Amelia's side sprites to make it consistent, but that's just for her hair thank goodness. I will be working on Micheal next. His hair is going to be a bit tougher
Now to see what I want for the GUI, hmmm...
Also question, I know how to make a customized dialogue box (I have Photoshop CS2 btw), but how do you make rounded edges? I would like to know how ;3;
...First of all I post too much here, but second of all
WOW
This coloring style seems so much more polished and NICE(And I had liked your old coloring style so that's saying something) So kudos to you, seriously.
I have not dropped off the face of the earth, but might as well since I have started COLLEGE. A good three weeks into it already gosh what happened to the passing time. So yeah progress isn't the best due to homework, but I'll probably get back into the swing of things next month by finishing up Micheal's character sprite at the very least and the GUI.
And look, I leave you with a possible event CG •3•
I think you would be better off not shading the clothes at all.
Right now it looks smudgy and randomly applied to whereever a line is.
In that case it would be better to just use flat coloring with no shading.
Hm, I see what you mean, but I personally like the way it looks and I think I spent enough time on one sprite already. It's not an economic use of my time to redo a sprite three times since I already spent time revamping the design
