[UPDATED] Okonomiyaki's Free/Cheap Work.
Edit: Can't take any more free work for now!
So, now that I have learned some basic anatomy and basic color skill, I want to offer my services for free/cheap. I am primarily looking to be a character artist, however, I am pretty awesome at items and would love to explore item making.
Some of my stuff.
I didn't draw this, I just did the lines for it. Duredhel from here drew it. This one is all mine, WIP. As is this one. It's to be shrunk down to 75x75 for items. I wouldn't trust me with any backgrounds, but here's a WIP of one. I do have a lot of other work to complete (mostly lining stuff for other people u_u), so I really can only take on character work for games that I'll enjoy.
Paid work is very cheap...maybe $5-7 a sprite?

Unfortunately I don't! I suppose I should make one, but I've been kind of freakishly busy with line-art since that's really all I can do at a decent level.
But, keep my email if you have a new project you'd like to commission me for?

I really like how to paint the items! What would the cost of item pictures be, or is it the same 5-7?

Umm, I guess it depends on details and size. What did you have in mind?

Adding some new linearts I did. Again, these are Duredhel's pictures, not mine, I just lined/cleaned them.

Updating with new items I've done. Trying a bit of a refined painterly look to practice painterly stuff.

Although your art looks quite simplistic, it's already very nice - I woludn't doubt that your skills as an icon/item designer for an RPG or simulator games are formidable! Can't think the other way Hope you'll find someone to work with soon, cause this would be really a waste. Hm... Do you have any experience with adventure games in overall and do you like rpg/jprg's? I might recommend you to someone, if he hasn't already seen this In my opinion, your art looks good enough to be paid for!

Thanks. I want to improve, though.
