I'm very well aware, but thanks anyway for pointing out the obvious? ^^;; If there is a rule against replying against spam-bots, even for fun, and even when the thread will be deleted soon, then please, point it out to me so that I can make note of it for the future.

Ah, no no no. I'm not mad or anything at all. I just thought you're hoping your message will be replied or something. And since this forum get quite a bit spam (from a spambot), you'll see lots of this kind of spam thread in the future anyway...

(That was from a post in 2007 but it explains the understood rule here. Mods don't want to delete spam threads when legit users have posted in them, but then the existence of the useless thread and its subsequent bumps clog up the boards.)

Also, depending on how complicated the spam methods are, replying to a post simply marks the forum as 'active' (because, hey, someone replied to it) and flags it for more spam in the future since they know it's going to be seen. So replying to spam threads, no matter how hilarious you think your image macro is, is just potentially doing more harm than good.
