Hello! Check out some of my stuff please and tell me what ya think and maybe give some pointers thanks!

1st one is a chibi one of two demons in love :3


2nd is a random anime kitteh!


3rd is lolita girl


4th is a samurai!


5th is a present a drew for a guy who is no longer my friend


and lastly is something I colored. I chibi. This was like 3 in the morning with crappy color pencils and I didn't have many colors either! And was taken by my phone

Seems like you're drawing freehand without laying down a basic muscular or skeletal structure beneath your figure drawings. The drawings themselves look fine at a glance, but you really will want to learn how to lay down some kind of structural framework in the long run whether you're drawing based on a reference or not. You might also want to try cleaning up your works a bit by adjusting the curves as well as the brightness and contrast after you scan them.

No real problems from a quick glance through, though you seem to ngive your characters squished faces.(As in, cone shaped)

I see, my apologies for my erroneous presumption then. In any case, it still "appears to me" that you didn't lay down a basic structure before drawing. Why I think so is because of the structure of the faces as well as the placement of the facial features. Also, there seems to be no muscular definition at all in the arms and legs. The fingers also appear to have no joints and look jelly-ish. These are some points that I think you will want to work on.

As for scanning vs taking a pic, my suggestion still stands. You can still clean them up just like I did. Of course, you might want to skip that part if you plan to digitally trace them for your lineart.

In the picture of the lolita girl, her left arm, her forearm looks way too short.

Your art is fine if you're working on a cutesy game. Drawing chibi characters lets you slide with the distortion of body parts, but if you want a more realistic look then you'll need to draw smaller eyes and elongate the face.

er, I dunno if this should be really pointed out or I'm sticking my nose to nothing.lol

WHERE ARE THE EARS!? Okay, it might be your reason is they are hiding behind the hair but.... the samurai or something clearly needs an ear here! I also believe your lolita girl needs an ear too.
