Well, I have no trouble adjusting prices, I suppose the ones ones I posted would be for the most simplest?

Also the time I take highly varies (as well as the range of ways I do art) and I'm really not aware how much living costs would be (I am so severely sheltered orz) so I'm not really sure what sort of range I'd best sell at. XD; I'm really, really bad at pricing. I'm probably not going to do a lot of art for visual novels at once either. OTL I don't know, but I do really appreciate the concern and taking the time to type of all that! I'll.. think about it some more? I'm seriously not sure what'd be reasonable though..... Mmm...

If you're happy with things the way they are and you're just in it for the fun of making games, it should be okay just doing whatever as you please... You could just leave it however you want and simply add a note saying the prices are low because you're just doing it to get experience and for the fun, or something like that.

That way you don't have to bother rethinking how to do it, but you still won't have to worry about people seeing the super low prices and demanding other artists to have prices below survival level or anything. ^^;

Hum I'm actually semi-for fun and semi-serious XD; so that's why I'm in conflict about it... I definitely wouldn't say no to more money either.

You could always make a rough estimate of your life costs etc. if you were on your own and then come up with an idea of a price for the pics, even if it's not yet precise. You can always readjust your prices as you learn more over time (like finding out how many clients you might need to get per month etc.) and as your art progresses.
And you can also always make a promotional price from time to time or at the beginning while you get used to it. Occasional promotions can also help getting started.

I have actually a promotional price for my commissions right now too. XD But hum~ I'll see what I should adjust to tomorrow.

I really need an artist for my VN.

I need 3 girl sprites and 2 guys. To be completely honest I can ony pay 10-15$ at most for each, as I am poor (and only 16). Is that still okay?

Story summary for VN:
Takeru Sawai used to be a loving little boy but after seeing his parents get killed before his eyes, his entire personallity changes. He becomes violent, and he detests others. He hates living and feels that he needs to find the person responsible for his parents death and kill them. Takeru feel that anyone who gets in his way is just as guilty. Seeing this destructive behavior, his grandfather sends him against his will to a group home. Will he ever change this mindset? Can he let others in? Will he maybe even find love?

Looks: Very long light brown hair with bangs, light blue eyes and pale skin. She is about 5'1" in height.

Looks: Medium length dark brown hair in a pony tail (a little bit of hair left out to frame face on the sides), dark brown eyes, tan skin. She is short, 4'11"
Expressions I need: Happy, Excited, Mad, Sad, Neutral.

#3 Girl
Looks: Long black hair and purple eyes. She is about 5'1"
Expressions I need: Happy, Sad, Neutral, Smiling, Blushing.

Looks: Blonde hair, green eyes and square glasses. He is a normal sized teenage guy.

[ Edit ] Closing down sprite/bg/cg commissions for now to sort out the offers I've gotten. Still available as a colorist and for illustration commissions which is listed on my DA.

Her artwork is great, prices are very affordable, she's very open to suggestions and changes, and basically a very easy person to work with.
