Hi there.

This link on the wiki does not exist any longer:

http://www.lemmasoft.net/projects_devcenter_tips.html

ie, "Lemma's Advice to new Game-Makers", on this page:

http://wiki.renai.us/wiki/Main_Page

Could PyTom, or whoever runs the lemmasoft server, take a look at that?

I want to refer someone to that guide (who's being a bit too ambitious for their first VN - I'm helping them a bit with it), but the link has been 404'ing lately.

Lemma took most of the site down last year, but it was archived by the wayback machine:

Thanks for that info. I'll forward the link along.

By the way, do you know if it's fine to re-host some of that stuff (that's useful to people besides Lemma), or to update the links on the wiki to point to the internet archive. Or whether Lemma prefers those things to stay (mostly) offline?

You would have to ask him.

oh, thanks for the link as well! I wanted to read it but noticed it was 404 for awhile. =( this is some useful advice.

(and i really should take the "dont make your first project the big one" advice >_> wellll if i make smaller games while slowly working on the "big" one then perhaps the bigger one wont be a failure. its what i planned on doing anyways at least make some small practice games lol)
