This is actually the first visual novel that I will make. And I need an artist. Wish me good luck. I'm planning to make 3 parts of it. Then a compilation.

Prologue
In the near future, chaos had speared all over earth. It is because of a great evil only known as "The Dark". "The Dark" was born from the people's corrupt souls. And from the sins that they had made.

"The Dark" reigned over the whole world. He divided the world into 3 sectors.
"The Dark" gave life to 3 souls from the grave to rule over the 3 sectors. Souls that had been suffering. Souls that seek vengeance and revenge.
Thus, It gave birth to the 3 "Warriors of the Dark". Namely, Death, the ruler of the first sector, The Darkness
Vladimire, ruler of the second sector, The Corrupt
And lastly, Rafael, Ruler of the third sector, The Void.

"The Dark" gave them pieces of his power.
Death have the power to reincarnate the dead and to collect souls.
Vladimire have mind controlling abilities. (Well, that will change eventually)
Rafael's abilities is covered with mystery.

The title tells it all. This game focuses on Death. His reign over the 1st sector, "The Darkness"
Death is being hunted by his past. He is often seen passing out. His servant told him that he must be lacking power, and that he must seek the advice of "The Dark"

But no one knows what is the real reason that Death is passing out, with the exception of himself.

He is starting to see pieces of his forgotten past. Memories that "The Dark" have long taken from him as a part of the a deal.
Play as Death as he goes over his past. And as he see the faces of the people he once knew.

Ryu Hernandez-
A.k.a The man Death was before.
Alice Hernandez-
Ryu's sister

Those are as planned. I'm still thinking of the names of the other characters. Please be patient.
And also, as what I have said, I need an artist.

Sounds really interesting... a story about Death. Sounds dark and mysterious; I like the feeling, the description gave me (Wahh! My goth-side is out of control! )

I wish you luck in finding an artist. I would offer my services, but I'm really slow and not that good at drawing (and I'm busy, busy, busy...) ._.

Ryu Hernandez? That's an interesting name mix, particularly if the protagonist is actually going to be half-Japanese half-Hispanic.

The last name Hernandez is Spanish or Hispanic in origin, and the name Ryu is Japanese in origin. That is why Omnificent thought your character might be half-Japanese and half-Hispanic in heritage.

Though, trust me, no one can seem to agree on a set definition of what exactly constitutes being Hispanic. You might actually find a lot of interesting reference for your story in Hispanic cultures like Mexico, since they have a Day of the Dead they celebrate with a lot of death and skull and skeleton imagery. They eat candy skulls and everything!
