Try holding down shift, and start the game still holding it down, this way the menu should appear. Otherwise you can try running the dxweb install (found in the game installation folder under lib/). Which videocard do you have?

Actually Cafe 0 is made by renpy 6.12.2 (the old one), because I found some code didn't work on newest renpy. I just managed to fix it recently.

Well it's not the code in renpy - it's some driver related problem. I have tested the game on a wide array of computers (mine and of friends of mine) including some very low end/old computers. The problems are all on the outdated video card drivers. I might try making a version without animated main menu though, since I think that might be the reason of the problems.

I already have the latext version of DirectX installed and my video card is ATI radeon xpress 1150.

The problem is that you don't need THE LATEST version of DirectX you need the DirectX9 that is in that folder. If you have DX11, doesn't matter since the DX port of Renpy uses ANGLE, and they need the DirectX9. So if you didn't run that dxweb installer already, please try. If you already ran it, then try with the other method (holding shift before launching until you see the renderer menu).

Oh my... I shouldn't have listened to my friend!

I tried it already, but it says I already have the latest version so I don't need to install anything anymore.

I'll just stick to the shift method and hope for the best.

And I really am so sorry for bothering you on New Years day. ^^;

No matter what I do I can't get anything other than the alone ending while trying for Ryan and Steve!
Is there a walk through or anything that can help me?

Honestly, I've been following that walkthrough & I've been juggling on getting 2 stats for each guy.
I keep getting the alone ending though ; A ; .

Ergh.

I keep getting the foreveralone ending and can't raise my stats fast enough to get anywhere with the guys. I paid for the game before trying the demo, i will say it's got pretty cute art, i really like how to Natalie looks - but i wish you could choose her name, and maybe dress her up a little.

I'm kinda sad too because i keep getting the foreveralone ending. :/ It's irritating and i wish there was a skip already seen text option that was a key and not just right click then preferences then skip... I can't seem to figure out how to plan my weeks so that She doesn't get poor health or bad stats, and focus on the guy i like u.u

Steve's my favorite out of the boys - he was really well drawn.
I managed to pick all of the right options but i don't think i got both of the stats he wanted high enough because though he was at "excellent" status i still got the alone ending...

I think if the game had an extra couple of weeks - it'd be perfect, because there's so much to juggle that i found the game very hard to beat.

Just my two cents. Still great art on the game. I guess i just prefer games that are not that challenging. I do love the story of the game though (even though at times natalie is a bit of a brat/petty/mean and annoying that way.)

I guess we need someone to tell us how to plan the week

Hmm I think the problem is that you don't Rest enough? If when you start a new week, your Health is below 50, reserve the first day of the week to "Rest" (the icon with bed). There's a penalty if you overwork yourself that reduces the statistics, so I think that might be your problem!

I have a little problem with Trent ;x he was at "excellent" status i still got the alone ending... I have 80 culture and 60 Empathy ^^" Susana talk with Natalie in her room and ... All. Ending alone...I cant do anything else with him ;x What next?
